WHY IS THIS LOCATION SUITABLE FOR YOUR PROJECT?

This location is suitable for my project because of the fact that it is a wide open space which enables me to get plenty of
different shot types. It is also suitable because it features a lot of sports related items such as a basketball court, a makeshift
gym part, and also football nets.

People who might be affected by recording in this location:
The people who may be affected by the recording in this location would be people who use the park. There are a number of
people who use this park because they want to walk their dogs, or maybe they’re younger people who frequent the area to
use its facilities.

Precautions/measures taken to minimise the impact of your recording:

To reduce the impact I have on these people who use the park, I will use the spaces that are unoccupied so that I don’t take
away any of the facilities from any of the people who use the park. I will also get there during the early hours when it is less
busy, as then I could get my pictures done before it fills up.

There are power sources available in the community building that’s located on the

Describe any restrictions/hazards in the immediate vicinity:

One hazard would be slipping on the wet grass if there was rainfall prior to our arrival on the site. There is also the risk of
slipping on litter that could harm the crew and cast. Another risk would be slipping on dog excrement, as it is a park that is

used by dog walkers. Also, broken glass bottles would be a hazard as they could cut the people who work on the site.

The location features an open field area as well as park apparatus, and the open space gives us plenty of room to get a
variety of shots that are visually interesting. The area includes a basketball court and football goals which provides me with
the opportunity to incorporate pieces into my images that fit in with the theme of my spread.
