This lesson is to give students an understanding of how the development of technology has
developed skiing over the years and the impact in which this has created on resorts, the
sport and the environment.

skiing in Australia. Student will need to
present this information to the class in the last
section of the lesson, it shouldn’t go for
longer than 2-3 minutes.

Students are to get in groups of
3 and together develop a small
presentation of 2-3 minutes on a
piece of skiing equipment and
the development of this piece of
equipment and how it has
changed/affected the Australian
resorts.
