Getting to Football is back after too long a break! From comments received it looks as if the PDF format is staying, which suits me because it’s much easier to write
than the website format of years gone by.
The intention is to cover English football from the Premier League down to Step 6 (not Step 7 for the moment, but never say never), together with all of the Senior
and Junior Leagues in Scotland, and the higher levels from Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Wales. There will be a few random bonuses too – three so far, including
the shinty page for which one of you guys asked. He knows who he is!
This current version is very much a work in progress, but it should all be finished by the time the new season starts. For the moment this PDF is available only from
Tony’s Non-League Forum (www.nonleaguematters.co.uk) but this will change as I get nearer to completion. The vague intention is that I will issue a revised
version every week during June and July so you’ll be able to see how things are coming along, but don’t hold me to that. It will get prettier too; I’ve been given a
rather nice photograph of a non-league ground to use as a front cover, but I need to get the file size down a bit before I include it.
Comments and corrections are of course very welcome. For the moment please make them on Tony’s Non-League Forum; I’ve had a new computer since the old
website was last regularly updated, and I don’t know the password for the email address that is referred to there!
For this Version 0.2, I’ve taken on board the comments made to me so far, and corrected a few things which I spotted myself. There are still some things that I’m
thinking about. For now I’ve left these as they were last time, but for my own reference: Birmingham City, Mangotsfield United, Northwood, Redhill. Most of the
added content from Version 0.1 concerns countries other than England, but five of the Step 5 pages are new since last week.

together with the Step 6 leagues once their compositions for 2018-19 have been finalised.
The Step 7 leagues will probably not be covered in this 2018-19 edition – diminishing returns, and all that – but maybe one day. If anyone has a Step 7 league that
they would particularly like to see included, say so and I’ll see what I can do.
