A. Installation Check List Before Start up
a) Air Coolled Chiller Unit
1. Levelling of the machine by spirit level
2. External Visual inspection of equipment body and control
devices for danage and missing items.
3. Test data or certificate from factory.

b.) Piping
1. All Piping Work Connections shall be completed.
2. Pressure gauge and thermometer shall be installed
accordingly.
3.Tightening up of bolts and nuts for header and devices
mounting screws.
4. All valves operation position for the external piping.
5. All piping shall be hydrostatic tested, flushed, water filled and
air vented.
6. Insulation work shall be completed.

c.) Wiring Work


1. Control devices shall be installed accordingly.
2. All interlock and remote signal wiring shall be completed
3. Tightening up of control panel and devices wiring terminals.
4. Incoming and outgoing power cable insulation test.
5. Insulation resistance test for the chiller motor.
6. Control panel shall be cleaned up.

B. Test Operation Check List


1. Adequate power supply available.
2. Chilled water pump ready to run.
3. All circuit breakers overload relays properly sized and set.
4. Function test of the control circuit and safety devices.
5. Check internal valve operation position.
6. Check selector switch operation position.
7. Check wiring connection terminated correctly.
8. Check operation of the auxiliary equipment.
9. Check main breaker capacity.
10. Check electrical power voltage.
11. Start the machine operation and record operation data.

A. Installation Check List Before Start up
a) Cooling Tower
1. External visual Unit
inspection for physical damage and missing
bolts and nuts.
2. Unit properly mounted and level.
3. Alignment of the pulley and belt tension.
4. Remove and clean excess grease on the belt and pulley if
any.
5. The basin shall be leak tested.
6. Ensure that the chimney discharge, other heat source shall
be far away from equipment.
7. Remove any abstacle at the louver, clean internally and the
upper basin.

b.) Piping Work


1. All Piping Work Connections shall be completed.
2. Check all valve operation position.

c.) Wiring Work


1. Incoming and outgoing power cable insulation test.
2. Insulation resistance test for the fan motor.
3. Earth wiring connected.
4. Control panel shallbe cleaned up.

B. Test Operation Check List


1. Adequate power supply available.
2. Circuit breaker and overload relay properly sized and set.
3. Check Electrical power voltage.
4. Check starter control sequence.
5. Check and adjust the operating water level in the water
basin.
6. Start the fan intermittently to the rotation, abnormal noise
and vibration.
7. Start the cooling water pump.
8. During the initial operation, clean and flush throughly the
recirculating water.

2. Pressure gauge shall be installed.
3.Tightening up of bolts and nuts for pump connection.
4. All piping shall be hydrostatic tested, flushed, water filled
and air vented.
5. All valves operation position.
6. Insulation work shall be completed. (for chilled and steam
condensate piping work.)

c.) Wiring Work


1. Incoming and outgoing power cable insulation test.
2. Insulation resistance test for the pump motor.
3. Earth wiring connected.
4. Control panel and terminal box shall be cleaned up.

B. Test Operation Check List


1. Adequate power supply available.
2. All circuit breakers overload relays properly sized and set.
3. Check electrical power voltage.
4. Rotation Check
5. Check starter control sequence.
6. Close discharge valve.
7. Start the pump intermittently to check the rotation,
abnormal noise and vibration.
8. Open discharge valve slowly.
9. Check leakage and shaft seal condition.
10. Start operation and record operation data.
