Dietetic Intern
 Worked with dietitian on inpatient adult cardio floors to provided medical nutrition
therapy to patients. This medical nutrition therapy included screening patients for
allergies, malnutrition or other nutrition diagnosis. Provided education to patients on
heart failure nutrition, diabetes nutrition, renal nutrition and heart healthy diets
 Worked with pediatrics dietitian team to children on inpatient floors, PICU and
outpatient services.

Dietetic Intern
 With dietitians and certified diabetes educators (CDEs) provided medical nutrition
therapy and support for patients living with type 1 and type 2 diabetes to provide
tools for better diabetes self-management.

 Presented to team on adverse childhood experiences (ACES) and the importance of

 Taught and assisted with nutrition education programs during dietetic internship
rotation in October. Classes included Seed to Supper, Cooking Matters for Families,
Cooking Matters for Diabetes

 Taught a 6-week Cooking Matters for Diabetes from February to March as
community project for OHSU. Adapted curriculum to have more emphasis on support
for participants as well as nutrition education. Presented outcomes at the Oregon

 Worked with food service staff in the kitchen to develop vegetarian menu items,

Dietetic Intern
 Worked with dietitian to provide medical nutrition therapy to clients who receive
WIC benefits and were screened as high risk. This included clients with obesity,
malnutrition, diabetes, gestational diabetes, and overall food insecurity.
 Created resources lists and handouts for food panties and communal meals within the
Salem, OR for clients who were screened as low and very low food insecurity.
