PREFACE

In today’s competitive period it has become very important for business students to

obtain basic knowledge, skills and plans in order to manage complex problems in expert

life. There are a large number of gaps, which a business student see while working in an

organization which he can cover so that he can acquire the skills and techniques

necessary for expert life. Learning has always been regarded as a quality upon

experience and for trainee students; significance of actual experience can’t be over

emphasized. The close relationship with the practical world implants sensitive

capabilities to capitalize their acquired knowledge. In this point of view internship is the

takeoff stage for students to act protection with the real world happenings and to notice

the learning’s also lies past the limits of the book.

For me it was fairly chance that being a student of Marketing , I got my internship

experience in Pakistan’s Turnotech Islamabad . As today world is subject by principal

issues of the economy logically the techonology sector has increase prominences being

the very important part of economy .

Staying At Turnotech Islamabad proved to be a creative experience. Every time I found

myself on the learning curve. The staff and the branch was friendly and helpful ready to

extend their help and providing information every time required. I am highly thankful to

all of them. More especially my thankfulness to (Mr.) manager, which showed nobility

and always condoned the follies of learner.

I am thankful to over respectable teacher Mr. Asad shahjan whose kind supervision

made preparation of this report easy and decided.

While this is quiet difficult task for student especially where some organization doesn’t

provide their data due to some confidential rules, where there is work burden on its peak

as compare to other organization. There was a very short time for our internship further

more staff of my organization where I did internship was too busy in their office work

and variety of tasks so I wasn’t able to gather and ask for much information from them.

I am thankful and very great to my Respected Supervisor for helping me out and not

going so rude to me and guide me as well and gave me time to unrevealed conclusion

for the completion of this report.

I am also thankful to staff of TurnoTech, Islamabad for their guidance and cooperation

in the meanwhile of internship that is really helpful for me during my report

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This internship report is practical part of our BBA program as perfect plan by HEC.

The objective of this is to make familiar the students with successful business

environment. This report is written to show and tell how business organizations set their

goals and how do they achieve it meanwhile. The method, tips and tricks to attain goals

are impressive.

The report is about TurnoTech. In the first chapter of report there is general introduction

of report. While in second chapter there is background, its core value and important

relevant topics related to an organization. Third chapter cover the detail of Marketing

and Sales of TurnoTech and its events. Forth chapter is about SWOT analysis which

overlays about strength, weakness, opportunity and threats.

No doubt it is very important element of any organization which fights and act to let

know the minor differences of an organization so the team could take an initiative steps

to resolve them. The fifth chapter is about recommendation and conclusions for

TurnoTech.

CHAPTER 1

INTRODUCTION

INTRODUCTION

Internship is significant obligation for the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

Hons student and their degree is not acceptable without an internship and its report.

Its compulsory of every student to do internship after receiving the permit letter form

head of thedepartment or any concerned teacher who is held responsible toprovide the

permit letter, which shows particular student is allowed from us as well as from

department to do internship.

To understand the practical life of business and organization every student is supposed

to do internship to seek knowledge.

The chapter is about the introduction of TurnoTech. It may contain various about my

personal experience as well as what I have learned in an office.

This report is an essential and formal part to submit to particular supervisor where the

student did internship. To obtain the degree of BBA,I have done internship of 8weeks in

TurnoTech in order to learn practical application and I gathered many precious

experience to Marketing operation in an organization.

While the organization Turno Tech has a firm believer and trust on this that manpower

is the most supernatural and essential asset of organization.

Marketing department perform a lot operation regarding manpower.

As I am marketing student so my overall concentration is on marketing department of

TurnoTech. And in these 8weeks as an internee of TurnoTech Islamabad, I performed

few important activities and task on regularly source.

BACKGROUNDOF STUDY

To do internship is the basic requirement of Higher Education as well as of our

department management sciences.

To do internship was the purpose to learn and to do something practically. I had to keep

focused on sales and marketing selection of an organization. I got a high advantages

regarding to my particular field.

I have learned many skills how to keep check and balance on employees, to keep stable

communication relations and other criteria of marketing sectors.

SCOPE OF STUDY

SCOPE OF STUDY

I had to deal with different customers by negotiation skills, communication skills. I used

and convert my bookish knowledge. Learned how to attract customers and how to deal

with them. How to keep a customer for longer or life time.

Wired broadband projects are the key delivery area for TurnoTech.

Over the year the technicians and engineers deployed multitude of equipment for

various vendors.

To learn and have a full command on anything requires much time but in such a short

time I have learned many things that will help me out in my future carrier.

The foremost purpose of this report and internship is to make commination and collect

reasonable facts and figures to deeply know about TurnoTech.

Second most important factor to submit this report is that without this report degree is

not acceptable as internship and this report is important element for completion of BBA

degree.

On the other hand it is also important for students that in future it will give help to deal

with employees, customers and consumers to let enter in practical experience.

But this will helpful only in one case and that case is if particular student entered in

professional life. Such internship improves ones interpersonal skills.

RESERVATION AND LIMITATION OF COMPANY

There is something which is always in privacy of every company. And they don’t want

to share it officially even. They try to keep it confidential. They hide their secrecy in

order to keep themselves on a safe side.

There is very little chance to learn something in such a huge and developed company

because no one shares their ideas and plans.

Same was the same with me they were hiding and they cant explore their information

because it is prohibited in company but time to time I got their trust and keep them in

believe and got the high confidence.

And now they gave me their information and details I felt so good.

This report will help me when I will personally join some business sector. As far as it

help me to learn analytical skills and various capabilities of students of business. This

report is prepared by several steps as by closelyobservations, interviews by customers,

and reviews by asking questions. I took help from books, Net, journals and specially

from personal surveys.

LIMITATION OF STUDY

As you know that marketing is the vast field for organization and as for building

department of organization.

The organization has a very huge operations covering entirely the several areas which

was simply impossible, however, I have left no stone unturned to make my this report a

through enough to have best of best idea for marketing as my specialization subject.

Furthermore, as you know that secrecy of any multinational and well developed

companies is also another hurdle to gather or collect relevant data for report which is

submitted to another department or place which is geographically is far away from

specific area.

The main and important thing in Turnotech is that they are typically working on

movement of communication and networking.

They deal with the customers to provide services and take payment in return of

particular services. This department works on disbursement of supplies and contribution

of networking. Usually accepting the claims of customers even.

They deal with a formal but official way with signature verification.

But if in case unluckily they got stuck in any problem they can return products and if

they don’t meet the required criteria they get back materials to relevant department.

But first the customer have must to exchange his data like personal information as well

as his professional data, and fulfill the application form if he want to transfer material

regarding test drives or equipment of radio frequency.

But for this there is a specific codes and passwords that must be kept secret.

Through these codes everyone can identify its draft .

This is the fast way to move products and gain customers attention.

The Turnotech provide excellent solution and services to customer without any chance

of complain in order to gain positive feedback as well as to create maximum value for

regular and loyal customer.

FINANCE COMMITTEE

The Resources committee incorporates board people and senior marketing department.

The key part elements of such committee are as following:

 Evaluating corporate philosophies and course of several actions.

 Reviewing determination, office task ,evaluationremuneration execution

request and an inspiration that help in movement game plan of company

inside and outside of senior organization.

 Checking company medium to wholedeal andarrangement course of action of

yearly Marketing programs.

 Such committee meetson the monthto month premise. Some of business

authorities are capable of inviting non-voting individuals whenever required.

Checking business needs programs eventson request to Board of Directors

TurnoTech had several functions ceremonies specially in 2014.

AUDIT COMMITTEE

The members of Audit comprises directors and chief internal members. Key

roles of audit members include

organization and control changes measures which drives remarkable exercises

We focus and struggle for customer orientation.

If you really want to do something unique, better, or want to accomplish something you

must come through the solution. Good tracking and following the targeting tools is

important as itself.

But if you don’t want to do it you can have many excuses. Take initiative steps and

implement them immediately.

It is the regional technical consulting service and Outsourcing company. Which was

established by 2005. It has currently 450+ resources. And permanent presence in USA,

UAE, Australia and Pakistan. Entity establishment in finalization stage in Oman, KSA.

Turnotech did many researches and independent studies on commercialization

technology targeting hotels, residency of small enterprises.

The important feature of Turnotech policies is the emphasis on developing ints its own

technical standards.

For example Chinese are pushing for IPV6 its their effort which catchup with US after

so long.

TurnoTech establish with other companies R&D factors center which generates

100million USD from international market.

Our clients are HUAWEI, Alcatel Lucent, Etisalat , NSN, NEC, Telenor, Mobilink,

China Mobile, Warid, Wi-tribe, STC and Zain KSA.

SUBSCRIBER ANALYSIS

Turnotech provided subscriber model which is also called propagation model which

provide tuning services to Telenor Pakistan. It was nationwide project involving

multiple measurement team and senior consultant.

ENVIRONMENT OF ORGANIZATION

The culture and environment of any good organization directly depend on the staff

member respectively.

The environment of Turnotech is so friendly but a little bit formal as well as it is

company. Every staff member is always ready to cooperate and support when ever any

member get stuck in any task, they help and sort them out from trouble. That’s why

such behaviour leads towards an ethical environment and every tasks go on fluently.

Culture of good organization means where and how the chain of work flows. The

mechanism of salary transfer to staff member never let them complain or having some

trouble or objection. The account section prepares salary and sends that particular salary

to respective accounts of staff members.

BENEFIT OF STUDY

This study is beneficial for marketing students in particular business administration

field where they get privilege of various opportunities, and marketing students in

general. As the marketing analysis in this report comprehensively covers all the aspects

of the organization accordingly.

CHAPTER 4

SWOT ANALYSIS

The SWOT analysis stands for Strength, weakness, opportunity and threat. Every

organization has its own SWOT analysis through which company is recognized well.

The internal are the strength and weakness while the external are environmental

opportunities and threat.

The SWOT analysis is always be updated and up grated as it is like chess game the

more you think you best you can make a move.

Strength:TurnoTech has well experienced employees, as well as well qualified staff

members. The organization is well stabled too. It has a strong relationships with

communities and earned a very good and respectful name in area. Many employees are

working in company from last 5years and due to long lasting duration in office friendly

environment is created. Company made a sustainability in every department which play

a vital role in development of company. TurnoTech has different sections and some

comprehensive policies for every separate sections to be strictly followed. TurnoTech is

best in social mobilization section, research monitoring evaluation, gender policy,

complaint handling mechanism and in some quality and accountability.

WEAKNESS

There is no trading program for employees. New comers are learning from other

previous old employees, there is nothing new which could bring some productive

results. They have to give training programs to employees. All the techniques they are

using in transactions and during procedure are old.

OPPORTUNITIES

There is a great opportunity for TurnoTech to make a platform for technologies lover to

work for reconstruction of Afghanistan, Earthquake and effected area where the

communication signals and networking is damage or out of order.

THREATS

Threat means the hurdle occurs form external stimuli to an organization which increase

the difficulty in achieving high performance. There are some of threats which may harm

an image and performance of company badly. The company should provide training and

awareness to rural area also about telecommunication and networking. The disturbed

environment of politics and country is crystal clear hurdle and the source of threat to

Turnotech.

CHAPTER 5

RECOMMENDATION

My recommendation for TurnoTech is that there should be the proper arrangement for

researches and human resource and welfare funds. This could be all possible if the

organization provide all these services under one all platform. I also recommend that

there should be slightly improvement in performance management system.

Which will increase performance appraisal and job relation for betterment of

employee’s channel. If at any work employees are not available there should be the best

alternative for that incomplete work for fulfilment requirement of work position.

Every employee should have know how about PC soles amount of data could be lost

during work force. There is lack of knowledge of operating computer in employees

which result in damage of operating system. The organization should provide the proper

and full guideline training program for this. So every staff member should know how to

secure Pc and prevent from data loss. There should be also some seminar regarding

awareness of culture of organization such training for the staff is called Project Staff

providing work capacity. And gets familiar with the culture so it can be beneficial to

organization. If every employee follow and implement strict rules in organization there

will be more chances to get high rank of projects in future, in top priorities. The rate of

cancellation of projects will get minimized. It is obvious the current staff will get more

benefits as the company gets more funds and have more profit if there projects get to

leading. There is lack of support of community also which company should improve

and make furher links with politics as they rule the area due to some security issues.

CONCLUSION

It was a really unique, and quiet informative experience to work in a multinational

company. The management should take elaborate steps and try to develop plans for

capitalizing on available opportunities.

I would like to say that I feel proud and think my self as a luckiest girl who get

privileged to a chance to work with highly strongly professional staff, as they were so

cooperated and supportive. I appreciate by their hard work and the system they used, the

electronic devices they operate everything was well organizes and well settled. I would

like to thanks the staff, employees which helped me and get though many difficulties in

office tasks and get me learned something practical. This staff was successful and

skilful people. TurnoTech has a strong management. As we all know that business sector

plays a vital role in contributing the success of economy of country. I have been the part

of selection in which many staff members and even engineer took my interview for an

intership program as it was my goodluck and I consider it as a blessing to be an internee

and a part of TurnoTechcompany . I have gone through different format.
