WRITING Imagine that the negotiation in Skills didn't reach a conclusion. Write a polite e-mail of
90-110 words from Anton to Lo Chi. Use these notes to suggest a solution.
• Order size and scheduling problem; possible solution?
50,000 3 April
50.000 10 April
50.000 17 April
• Allows good delivery time, lower item price
Dear Lo Chi,
I was very pleased to have met you last week at your office. I found the discussions very interesting.
I've been thinking further about how to resolve the order size and scheduling problem. I'd like to suggest
that we break the order into three parts. If we order 150.000 today, can you deliver 50.000 on 3 April,
50.000 on 10 April and 50.000 on 17 April? That would allow you enough time to deliver and would keep
the item price down.
I look forward to hearing from you
sincerely,
Anton
