Business Description
Talking about our company, PUP which using idea from our name, Petch,
Unging and Pink had invested on our business with 1,500 baht in each games.
Moreover, this game took five days long to play.

Game 1:
Day 1 - 18 May 2018
In the first day of the game which was the first time that we played together,
that will lead our group spent a large amount of money and brought a lot of lands.
When we rolled the dices and we stepped on the land and we brought them; 3 lands
and a lot of properties without thinking that these lands that we brought were suitable
for investing or not. Even Though, we brought a lot of lands and properties, there
were several group that came to visit on our land. These will affect our group to loss
and had liabilities of 950 baht that needed to pay to CJ’s company.

Day 2 - 23 May 2018

In the second day, it began with a large amount of liability to pay because we
continued play from day 1. So, we did not get an invest money before starting the
game. We brought only one more land and one more building. However, we had bad
luck, we spent three times of rent expense and one more time liabilities to CJ’s
company. Luckily, we got rent income in the end of the game for 450 bath.
Nevertheless, the income that we got was not enough to pay for the liabilities.

Game 2:
Day 3 - 24 May 2018
In the second game, we played the game with another group and another table.
Initially, we started quite bad with spending on rent expense; however, we invest our
money in lands and buildings which were Bow street and Trafalgar square. Then, we
got the first renting budget in Bow street. We invested all building in Bow street
because in first game, other group got much money from this street so we decided to
use this statistic to invest this time and it worked. However, we paid some tax for
government. After that, we got another renting budget in Bow street. In addition, we
got lesser cash on hand than the previous game.

Game 3:
Day 4 - 25 May 2018
In third game, we started a game with other groups. We began quite good and
smoothly by investing a lot of money in lands and 10 buildings which were Pall Mall
and Bow street. We still use same statistic as last time that most group often rent in
these properties. Unfortunately, we rented 3 properties which were all high prices so

our financial went down and lost money. Nevertheless, in the last period of game, we
got a lot of money from renting in Pall Mall and some other income.

Game 4:
Day 5 - 31 May 2018
In the last game, the fourth game is said to be got invest 1,500 in the
beginning of the game. Then, we had opportunities to buy only one land and three
buildings in Leicester Square. After that we had spent rent expense four times to
Oligopoly and Don’ Corleone Family. Co. In addition, we spent tax for 2 times and

Financial Analysis
1. Net Loss Margin ( ($6,080 - $7,919) / $6,080 ) * 100 = (- 30.25%)
We have a net loss of $1839, which is net loss 30.25% and revenue of
$6080 with expenses of $7919. As a result, our company performance was
not quite good to convert revenues to profits.

2. Total Assets $8,111

According to our balance sheet, we have total assets of $8,111 of
playing Monopoly game of the past 6 days. However, we have quite low total
assets when comparing to other groups, which many group have a total
assets above $10,000. We think that the reason that we got low total assets
because we paid quite a lots of land, but we get very low returned money than
we had invested.

3. Return On Assets $-1839 / $8111 = -0.23 * 100 = (- 23%)

We calculate return on assets by divided net loss with total assets, then
multiply 100 to get the percentage of return on assets. This show that our
company doesn’t receive any return on assets, and also loss some of our
assets. In addition, we spend a lots of cash on land, buildings, and rent
expense on other group’s lands and properties. Furthermore, we have
expenses more than revenue, that affect our company to have net loss.

4. Current Ratio $8111 / $3950 = 2.05

As we divided total current assets by current liabilities in our company’s
balance sheet. In conclusion, we get a 2.05 as a current ratio of our company.
This show that our company has some ability to pay back liabilities we made
in the future.
