    Appendix 1 – General Assembly Resolution

    AG/RES. 2531 (XL-O/10)

    RESOLUTION ON THE SITUATION IN HONDURAS

    (Adopted at the fourth plenary session, held on June 8, 2010)

    THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY,

    CONSIDERING:

    That the situation in Honduras is a matter of concern for all the member states;

    That member states need more information on the current status of the political process in
    Honduras,

    RESOLVES:

    To form a High-Level Commission composed of persons appointed by the Secretary General to


    analyze the evolution of the situation as referred to in Resolution AG/RES.1 (XXXVII-E/09).

    The High-Level Commission will submit its recommendations to the General Assembly no later
    than July 30th 2010.
