GUIDELINES FOR THE WORKSHOP PRESENTATION

The objective of the workshop is to establish synergies among the participants of the event
and create future cooperation between researchers in Brazil (led by OBMigra) and the
United Kingdom (led by COMPAS). The main aim is to think about projects and/or future
researches in a comparative perspective. We have attached the workshop schedule.

The presentations should be brief, between 15 – 20 minutes, and in addition to your

research, please also bring to the event a summary of your:

1 - Scientific trajectory and main research concerns

2 - Your research plans and academic output (expected results from this event). Please note
that suggestion for cooperation emerging from this event should try to better understand
Migration in Latin America and Europe in Comparative Perspective.

We will discuss academic trajectories and potential cooperation when we have group
meetings on Day 3 (see Workshop programme).

The workshop will provide simultaneous translation (Portuguese/English). So feel free to

choose the language of your presentation (but please keep your PowerPoint in English).
