KERR’S MODEL

CHARACTERISTICS
• No fixed starting point ; an attempt to map
out of the field
• There are four domains – objectives,
knowledge, evaluation, school learning
experiences
• The four domains are interrelated directly &
indirectly
• Objectives are derived from school learning
experiences & knowledge
CHARACTERISTICS
• In Kerr’s model, objectives are divided into three
group – affective, cognitive & psychomotor
• Knowledge should be organized, intergrated,
sequenced & reinforced
• School learning experience are influenced by the
school community, the pupils & teachers
relationship, individual differences & teaching
methods
• Evaluation comprises of tests, interviews &
assessment

• Must be significance to the pupil’s level and the construct/objective focus
(cannot move to another construct if the previous construct is not
achieve).
• Interest-Knowledge exists in the learner when it is meaningful to his/her
life.
