IESCO seeks to invite sealed tenders from the firms / manufacturers who are
pre-qualified / registered with the Chief Engineer (Purchase & Disposal) /(Design) NTDC /
PEPCO (WAPDA), Lahore or with any DISCO for the year 2010-11 for supply of following

Tender Nos. IESCO/PMU/GS-1/2010 and IESCO/PMU/TL-1/2010 must be delivered in the

office of Chief Engineer Development, IESCO on 20-12-2010 & 21-12-2010 respectively at
11:00 AM & will be opened at 11:30 A.M. on the mentioned dates in the presence of participants
or their authorized representatives who care to attend IESCO Head Office Conference Room G-
7/4 Street No. 40, Islamabad. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of an amount
mentioned against each lot. Material shall conform to relevant WAPDA/PEPCO/ Specifications
(amended to date)

Terms & Conditions

1. The prices should be firm and final on FCS basis without involving any foreign exchange.
2. Tender must be accompanied by Bank Guarantee for an amount as given against each lot
and valid for 150 days (one hundred and fifty days) in the form of Bank Guarantee/Call
Deposit issued by any schedule bank of Pakistan. Bids are to be valid for 120 days.
3. Lots are to be quoted as a whole; any bid quoting partial/incomplete lot will be rejected.
4. The offered material must comply with the latest/updated Wapda/Pepco/ CE Design,
NTDC relevant technical specifications (Amended till date).
5. Tender forms can be obtained from the office of Chief Engineer Development, IESCO)
against non-refundable amount or Rs. 1000/- per tender on any working day during office
hours till a day earlier from the opening of the tender.
6. IESCO reserves the right to increase or decrease the tendered quantity at the time of
issuance of purchase order or during the currency of the contract. The validity of Tender is
also extendable as deemed necessary by the Company.
7. No tender will be issued on the date of opening of tenders.
8. Copy of renewal of registration / pr-qualification with any DISCO / PEPCO (WAPDA) and
registration with sales tax Department should be produced at the time of issuance of
tender documents / bid schedule.
9. Pre-bid Conference will be held on 11-12-2010 at 1100 A.M.
