Reflection

I wrote my visual rhetoric essay on the mural named Lady of the Valley by Levi Ponce.

This type of essay was different for me because I had never written an essay about a picture. As I

revised my essay I released that there was a good amount of changed that needed to be made in

order to have a clearer essay. One of the main things I had to fox was the conclusion, because it

didn’t really make, and also didn’t answer the so what? Who cares? Questions. I looked back and

was able to see that in my conclusion paragraph I didn’t re state my thesis which I fixed now. I

also had to fix the essence paragraph because the purpose of that paragraph was not clear. As I

read that paragraph I realized that it really didn’t make any sense, I realized that it also did not

connect to the rest of my essay. As I looked over my essay I realized that I was missing some of

the in text citations for one of my quotes. Another thing that I had to fix was some of my

Citations because they were missing the quotation marks. I also read my essay out loud and was

able to catch some mistakes that I didn’t even noticed before that I had which was good.
