CONTINENT COMPARISON WRITING ASSIGNMENT

Directions: In one or two paragraphs, discuss some of the similarities and differences between
your continent and the continent you just learned about.

Both of Europe and Asia are part of earth, are where people live; but there’re
many difference between these two lands. Obviously, Asia is much bigger than Europe,
Asia is considering the biggest continent and Europe is second smallest. Although the
size is totally different, both continent have a very close number of countries, Asia have
47 countries while Europe have 43. On one hand, Asia is a developing continent with
many country are looking for more advanced in industry and manufacture; pushing to an
the first industrialized country which is the UK, follow it is many other big country such
as Belgium, Germany and France and quickly spread all over of the Western Europe.
Religious is also another thing that is not the same, most of the Asian are following
Buddhism and Hinduism that mainly first start from India and spread out all over of Asia,
though the main religion in the Middle East are Islam and Israel is the capital of
Judaism.

But there’re still some similarities between the two continents beside of difference
above. We both know that Asia and Europe share the country Russia together, although
Asia have more area of Russia than Europe but some big, major cities and the capital
Moscow of Russia are belonging to Europe. Although industry are very important but
agriculture still a major economy to not both of the continents but to every continents in
the world. It’s the first economy on the world since the prehistoric times and it’s the most
important one since it not just made money but it also feed and provide food for human.
Language is another thing that is similar between these close lands; “Multilanguage” is
a word that we use to say a country that people there speak many different languages.
Here I’m mention to a continent; both Asia and Europe have many small countries that
start on its own and have a signature language of the country itself.
