Wills Keller P3, Poor Man’s treasure Words are free Words can’t be discounted Words don’t cost anything Words are deadly Words are dangerous But we take words for granted ‘We waste our words While some don’t even have their own words Every day people have to fight for their words But this goes unnoticed Because no one knows how much they truly need something, until they don’t have it anymore Ifyou have no words, you just have sound Hf you have only sound, you have no power Words and sound and strong together But alone, they are weak Theoretical Bullets Bullets kill But so can words Words are powerful And with words, anything can be done You can run out of bullets, but not words Words can pierce armour that bullets can’t Bullet wounds can heal, but words can scar you for ever 100 words are stronger than 100 bullets 100 books are stronger than 100 rifles But we use bullets to express ourselves, and not words Bullets kill But so can words Words are powerful And with words, anything can be done Shower thoughts War How can one three lettered word cause so much loss and despair How can one three lettered word create so much agony and pain War Why use words? When you can use artillery ‘Why make peace? When you can make weapons Why sigh a treaty? When you can sign an arms deal War doesn’t have sound No one hears the cries for help No one hears the men and women grasping onto their lives, No one hears the prayers or the cries We only hear the sound of gunfire We can only hear the screams of bombs flying through the air War How cana three lettered word end lives? Hate ‘War is nothing without hate But if that’s true ‘Then war is everywhere around us 1m our schools, our grocery stores, our movie theatres We can’t escape war But why do we fight? Is it for money? For land? For power? If this is the case, then we are putting s price on someone's life But our soldiers aren't fighting, It’s the politicians, the world leaders, the people that can actually make a difference But they don’t They use soldiers as pawns, and carelessly let them die But who needs pawns? They are useless anyways Their just men and women with lives and far But it’s ok.. right? War Ifit’s not blood gushing out of our wounded soldiers, then it’s oil we cry and bleed, not tears and blood You can try and protest and revolt But all of those are driven out of hate ‘We can’t escape war, we can’t escape hate Because without hate and war, there would be no peace and love ‘The Storm There is a storm brewing it’s been in the making for a while but you have no idea the storm is ready to burst, and it will shower you in assignments and due dates, At first it rains slowly You don’t really notice it It’s no big deal But one day, it becomes too much It’s raining too hard and you don’t know what to do it’s all too much But you can’t get away Every time your assigned something or given a due date, it rains more Your trapped, the storm is following you everywhere you go You can’t escape The storm lingers over you coming with you ever assignment of the way there must be an end... right? After a while, the rain becomes normal your so used to it, it doesn’t bother you But it’s still there And now it’s turning into a hurricane And every time a drop hits you, you die a little surely you can’t go on much longer ‘And your right Because soon the storm clears But all that’s left is your grave, and on your grave is a stack of papers ‘They read.... Due 5/25 ‘Mr. Spaceman What is it like? Being all alone alone in the dark and desolate place How does it feel, looking at everything that we know A giant green and blue ball holds everything All the memories, all the laughs, all the tears, and all the blood ‘And there you are Looking at it all Can you comprehend it all Everything Everything you know, and | know, is all there on that blue and green ball How does it feel looking into the dark abyss of space Knowing that what you are looking at is infinite nothing is infinite Except for space Mr. Spaceman Isit worth it? All the training and simulations Just to fly up to the stars and heavens ‘And know, that you are looking at existence You are looking at everything that has ever existed But is that enough?
