A. Executive Summary 
Our business is a restaurant/bar and grill. We will be serving tasty burgers, chicken
wings, wraps, salads, and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. We are a
corporation that is full of knowledgeable and experienced employees. Our business is located at
119 surfside drive, SC and we are open every day of the week. Anyone is welcome at our
restaurant but after 10 p.m. anyone under the age of 18 is required to leave, so come grab some
grub and have some fun. Always remember “were not just fat, were fast.”

B. Company Description 
Fat Stack$, we chose this name because it sounds catchy and you can have fat stacks of
a variety of foods. Our business will be located in Myrtle beach, South Carolina. We chose this
location because it is nice down south and also during spring break and other holidays there are
many potential customers. Our business type is a restaurant, something that inspired us to have
a restaurant of our own was our love for the food in the restaurants. Our mission for the
restaurant is to really be a success in the city of Myrtle beach. Our two short term goals are to
make a profit in the business and building good reputations with the customers. Our two long
term goals are to expand our business and be one of the best burger joints in Myrtle beach. Our
three keys to success are Good food, Good service, Happy customers. Our business is a burger
joint style so we will serve Burgers, Sandwiches, wraps, salads, chicken, appetizers,alcoholic
beverages and non-alcoholic beverages. It is a sit down restaurant not a fast food place.
 
C. Ownership/Legal Structure 
We are a corporation. A corporation is liable for their own actions and debt a reason why
corporations are good is because of the limited liability the liability is shared between all the
owners because not just one owner is responsible they are all responsible. Having a corporation
can be stressful because all the owners have their own responsibilities in the business and its
very stressful. Employer id number, business licenses, certificate of occupancy, Food service
license, Liquor license, Music license, Sign permit.

D. Management 
Our education within the next five years will at least be a bachelors degree in business,
also have taken a business management class. Also you will take courses that have a
background in cooking and the food industry. You will need to have a social skills class so you
can properly greet and wait on people. We will have volunteer experience such as, helping make
and give out food to the poor. Hobbies that we have are cooking and talking to people in a
different language. Personal traits we have are responsibility, caring, good people skills, and
being organized.We will bring to the table being bilingual (Elizabeth), hard working(Keith), good
people skills(Audi) , good skills in business and cooking skills(Cristian).

F. Target market/Market Analysis 


​ We do not have an age range before 10:30 pm, but after 10:30pm anyone over eighteen is
allowed. The family income range is about 26,00 to 50,000 a year because our food can be
pricey. Our occupation for everyone is welcomed retired laborer and a student in college and
younger. We will welcome both male and female customers into the restaurant. The education
aspects of younger kids elementary middle and high school students will have the privileges
besides drinking alcohol. We’ll also take single and married couples if they are married
3 or more get a 10% discount because of how pricey our food can be for some families. Our
customers will purchase our products mostly between 11 and midnight. Before 10 they would
mostly but our main course meals, and after 10pm they will mainly buy alcohol. They will buy our
products maybe a couple times a month, except for people on spring break, than hopefully once
a year. Most of our business will come during the warm times of the year. We will have a website
so they can pre order carry out and for local customers we will offer mailed coupons. Radio
commercials, hand out flyers, and maybe get a sign on a billboard.
 
G. Logo and Slogan 
For our restaurant Fat Stack$ our slogan is that
“We’re not just fat we’re fast”. We came up with
the slogan to ensure people that they will get great
food in a reasonably quick amount of time. Our
logo is looks like a hexagon with the slogan
underneath because the slogan is alerting the
people to go to our restaurant and enjoy the food
and beverages we have to offer. These are the
reasons why we have chosen this logo and the
slogan for what is to be a very successful
restaurant.

M. Analysis of Competition 
One of our competitor’s is Hamburger Joe's located at 1410 US-17 BUS, Surfside Beach , SC.
They are a no-frill family burger and BBQ joint. One of their strengths is the fact they sell good
food. One of their weakness is they close early.Another competitor is Dagwood’s Deli & Sports
Bar located at 600 US-17 Surfside Beach, SC. They are a tavern featuring deli sandwiches and
pub grub. A strength they have is they have a great set of entertainment. A weakness they have
is their longs are very long. A third competitor would be considered the Bar-B-Que House located
at 1205 US-17 BUS Surfside Beach, SC. The Bar-B-Que sell different types of BBQ food. A
strength they have is the fact that you get your money worth in food when eating there. One of
the their weakness is their poor customer service. We believe customers will buy from us
because our business hours are better than the other businesses. Also we bring bring excellent
customer service in which some of these businesses lack in. Another reason we will be better is
because we will be introducing new and exciting dishes to the food market.

R. Conclusion 
In summary, our business will be successful for many reasons…. Our business we will be
spending $95,000 on rent, insurance, supplies, inventory, etc. We have found a website were we
will be able to buy the equipment need to run a restaurant. We will also be taking out a loan of
$70,000. Also each of our parents will be giving us $20,000 of love money.
