 Tactical Reference updated with additions coming with this release. In order to use the updated Tactical
Reference for IKAROS Theater, you MUST:

1. Copy the new TGA picture files (200) from:


<FalconBMS installation folder>\Data\Add-On Ikaros\Docs\TacRef\TACRDATA\
Paste these files to:
<FalconBMS installation folder>\Data\Art\TACRDATA\

2. Copy the new TacRefDB.bin file from:


<FalconBMS installation folder>\Data\Add-On Ikaros\Docs\TacRef\
Paste this file to:
<FalconBMS installation folder>\Data\Terrdata\

Overwrite original files - a copy of the original file is also provided within Docs

 Optional high-resolution textures for Airports:


From this Ikaros release and in future updates, there will be optional high-resolution textures for each updated
airport model. The textures are served in the form of ZIP files named after the ICAO name of each airport.
Inside each ZIP file there are 3 folders with DDS files divided in:
- Standard Resolution (2048 x 2048 pixels)
- High Resolution (4096 x 4096 pixels)
- Ultra-High Resolution (8192 x 8192 pixels)
These ZIP files can be downloaded from the following folder:
http://e-haf.org/Ikaros_Theater/Airports_Optional_Textures/
or http://downloads.uth.gr/Ikaros_Theater/Airports_Optional_Textures/

Each filename also denotes the current texture pack version, in case of future updates.
In order to use a chosen resolution pack, the corresponding DDS files must be placed inside the folder:
<FalconBMS installation folder>\Data\Add-On Ikaros\Terrdata\objects\KoreaObj\
Alternatively, they can be put inside the folder:
<FalconBMS installation folder>\Data\Add-On Ikaros\Terrdata\objects\KoreaObj_HiRes\
and check the parameter "High Resolution Textures" in Falcon BMS Config, under the "Hardware" folder.
NOTE: The default installation of Ikaros Theater includes only the Standard Resolution textures
(2048 x 2048 pixels)

 Camo.cfg file updated to reflect current modelling implementations

 Civil airliner “squadron codes-names” (18) pre-decided & declared to camo.cfg for future use in new 3D
models and skin sets:

 Installed @JanHas LV3 HAF F-16C PXIII with/without CFT's, replacing the 2 BMS default HAF models. 6 skin
sets assigned specifically for Ikaros theater and declared to camo.cfg for use through Mission Commander
planning: set0 337sq, set1 340sq, set2 343sq, set3 16th_393sq, set4 16th_OCU, set5 e-HAF_320sq

 Installed @JanHas LV3 HAF F-16C PXIII with CFT's “DEMO ZEUS”, replacing the older LV2 model

 Installed @JanHas LV3 HAF F-16C PXIV with/without CFT's, replacing the older LV2 models - declared to
camo.cfg for 335sq & 336sq

 Installed @JanHas LV3 HAF F-16C PXII, replacing the older LV2 models - declared to camo.cfg for 341sq &
347sq

 New weapons Hardpoints created: "F-16V HAF", HAF F-16 PXIII new LV3 models updated to use this HP.
Contains most of the advanced weaponry to be used for vSQ's training as per internal requests

 Updated the 3D cockpits of the LV3 models to match the newer cockpit records

 Updated the LV2 HAF F-16 PXIII models to use the CockpitWings of LV3 PXIII models for better details &
WingFlex

 JanHas LV2 F-16 models (rest HAF & THK fleet in the DB) skins numbers updated to fix overlapping texture
number issues (documentation also updated)

 Fixed green lights on all F-16's as per version (led vs old bulbs etc.) - all FM’s updated as appropriate

 Added new F-16 AfterBurner sounds (@Zoldi211). Files replaced: sndabext.txt & f4sndtbl.ogg (original files
also remain in the folders with the "-ORIG BACKUP" statement)

 A2A captive missiles implemented for training purposes as per internal requests. A2A racks can be loaded with
20x missiles for similar “virtual shots”. The missiles have no weight nor drag impact on host aircraft, and will
not explode nor damage the splashed target:

- #2 AirFrance (sq number 901) (skin @erwand59 & Raptor fixes)
- #3 Lufthansa (sq number 912) (skin @Bloodhound161 & Raptor fixes)

Extra fixes: aircraft role updated to Air Transport, FM further updated, added new Top Gun camera views

 F-4 Phantom implementation:


1. Added new F-4E AUP Phantom (@Manos) - declared to camo.cfg for 338sq & 339sq skin sets

2. Added new F-4E 2020 Terminator Phantom (@Manos) - declared to camo.cfg for 111sq & 171sq skin sets

3. Replaced the original F-4G Phantom Wild Weasel model in the DB with new (@Manos)

4. Stores & weapon loads updated, set the default F-4E 3D cockpit for all, added correct 3D CockpitWings

5. New 3D model & skin added for the F-4 CL dedicated pylon (name: R F-4 Center), for loading weapons
and the 600gal fuel tanks from F-15

6. New 3D model added for the MAU dedicated pylon for loading the TGP & ECM Pods on forward AIM-
7/120 fuselage racks (name: R F-4 TGP MAU)

7. New 3D model & skin added for the 600gal F-15 fuel tanks (as these are used by F-4's)

8. FM’s updated, also added new Top Gun camera views

9. New hi-res skins added for the F-4 default 3D cockpit (@Manos)

10. WIP: until lower lods are ready, lod2’s are set as lod1

 Mirage 2000 's implementation:


The default Mirage 2000 models in the DB migrated to:
- M-2000C -> M2K_EGM (HAF 332sq)
- Mirage 2000N -> M2K_BGM (HAF 332sq)
- Mirage 2000-5F > M2K-5_EGM (HAF 331sq)
- M-2000D > M2K-5_BGM (HAF 331sq)

All HAF 331sq & 332sq skin set are set to #0 and declared to camo.cfg
Previous France Air Force skin sets remain intact
Aircraft skins updated for HAF variants (@Raptor - new skins are WIP by @Sgt.Siak)
Fixed stores & weapon loads for each variant
Fixed ancient error with fuselage forward Mica pylons (FR vs FL)

The old Mirage 2000 EGM HAF model in the stock DB has been removed in order not to be available for flights

 C-130 Hercules implementation:


C-130H model updated adding a total of 4 skin sets - declared to camo.cfg:

Updated FM adding new Top Gun camera views

 KC-135R Stratotanker implementation:


KC-135R model updated adding a total of 4 skin sets - declared to camo.cfg:
- #0 USAF 909sq
- #1 RSAF 112sq
- #2 THK 101sq
- #3 HAF 357sq

 HAF 357sq does not exist in real, nor the plane is been used by HAF in real.
 Through this implementation we are simulating the past scenario in which HAF acquired 4-8 similar
tankers through long-leasing terms from US

 Added 102 GSE (Ground Support Equipment) models of all kinds as static features, these will be used to
populate air bases accordingly - check Documentation folder for assets pictures - LGSA & LGBL currently fully
populated

 Updated AAQ-28 Litening 3D model (@JanHas fix) - also added back original 1668 skin that generated skin
issues to LANTIRN TGP

 New model & skin for ELL-8212 Jammer Pod (@Sparta)

 New model & skin for ELL-8222 Jammer Pod (@Sparta)

 New model & skin for SOM B2 (@JanHas)

 New model & skin for SOM B2 Training (@JanHas)

 New 3D model & skin for DB-110 Recce Pod (@JanHas)

 New fixed CATM-9M 3D model (@JanHas) - The previous model crashed graphics (only!) when missile was
loaded on F-16's station #1 (left wingtip rack)!

 Modified skin 1282.dds for DL pod AN/ASW-55 (to better match THK paint scheme) & AN/AXQ-14 (to better
match IAF paint scheme)

 Updated TGM-65's skin 7143.dds with new details on the rear engine bay

 New AM-39 Exocet variants skins

 New Scalp-EG variants skins

 Scalp-EG / Apache missiles, fixed lod4 distances, were wrong in stock DB

 MER rack records on bmsrack.dat updated in order to load bombs 5 and 6 to proper slots (to external positions
first, then internal)

 Fixed HAF F-16's PXI FM/Avionics: completely removed LANTIRN TGP etc. from FM - aircraft can carry GBU
bombs but you'll need a buddy-lasing escort tactic now

 IAF F-16's weapon loadouts updated as appropriate

 Added new cockpit kneeboard texture for latest Ikaros theater airfields frequencies - 2 different skins created
for 16th & eHAF communities, find the skins to select upon on theater Documentation folder / Kneeboards
along with instructions

 Various fixes to various units & features

 Smokewinders implementation ready for Demo aircrafts (HAF Zeus & THK SoloTurk). Selection option through
F4Patch changes these aircrafts FM's to enable/disabled smoke effect from the wingtip “smokewinders” pods

 Missile R.550 Magic renamed to: Magic

 Missile R.550 Magic II renamed to: Magic II

 THK F-16 POIV gives CTD when loading AWW-9 on CL, will be fixed in future by installing the new LV3 models
 Block 40 Vipers with WAR HUD do not have a pilot legs model, will be arranged in future
 GBU-50/B EP II currently is a proxy 3D model for the DB implementation, new proper 3D model will be ready
later
 DB multiplexing implemented but not included at this public release, since some extra fine-tuning is necessary
following the LV2 models updates to LV3
