Part I：main products of the video intercom
Video intercom products mainly include:

First, the outdoor host machine:
 Visitors call the owner and talk
When the visitor comes into the community, he or she can call the unit of
any household through the outdoor host machine. After it is confirmed by
the household owner, the wall door or the entrance door can be remotely
unlocked, and also start taking pictures.
 Visitors can leave pictures
When the owner is not at home, it can play the message left by the owner,
while automatically recording the visitor's dynamic images and sound.
Second, the indoor extension:
 Digital video intercom
The indoor extension can "accept" the call from the outdoor host machine,
wall machine, management center machine, and also video intercom; it
can call all the terminal machines and management machines in the same
network, to achieve two-way visual calls.
 Remote unlock
Through the "unlock" function key on the indoor extension, you can
remotely unlock the electronic control lock of outdoor host machine, wall
machine and other equipment.
 Monitor
Through the “monitor”function key on the indoor extension, you can
monitor the surrounding environment of the outdoor host machine and wall
machine and also the relevant cameras linked to the same network
system.

 Owner leave message

When the user leaves the home, the "answer mode" on the indoor
extension can be set into the "owner leave message", then it will send the
left message to visitors.
 Household call each other
The indoor extensions can call each other, either by video or talk.
 Calling record
The indoor extension can automatically record the missed calls, received
calls, dialed calls and other information records, and can display the
standard recording time for inquiries.
 Smart home function (optional)
The indoor extension can control the home appliances by smart switch,
with a variety of scenarios.
 Home security features
The indoor extension can control the external security modules, and can
arm and disarm by one-key or password. The system can also alarm with
“forced password”to disarm. That is to say, when it is by the involuntary
disarm, the alarm signal can be sent to the management center. The
indoor extension can have no less than 8 security zones, and can connect
infrared sensor, emergency button, smoke detector, gas detector and so
on.
 Status detection
The indoor extension can check whether the security zone sensors are in
normal work, very convenient and fast.
 Quick query
The indoor extension can quickly query the configuration information of the
machine, such as the specifically allocated network IP number, room
number and system version information for the installation and
maintenance of the project.

The indoor extension equipment can automatically detects the latest
software version information, and automatically updates the upgrade.
Third, the power adapter:
Provide power for the outdoor host, indoor extension, routing and other

This is the RS485 communication protocol of the elevator linkage system,

visitors call the indoor unit, the indoor unit gives the unlock signal, open
the door lock and control the signal of this floor board.The elevator can
reach the first floor to pick up the visitors and send the visitors to the
floor of indoor unit.

二、Wiring Precautions:
1. Video intercom indoor unit connect with switch through networking cable,
each floor of the switch and outdoor unit connect with the same switch, this
switch connect with Ethernet, and can connect with management center

2. The distance of networking cable is not over 80m.( The distance is from
device to switch, and switch to switch).If it is over 80m, it need use optical
fiber, a fiber converter is added at the cable connector (Figure7) ; If POW
switch supply power, ensure that the POE with load capacity
(Output12-18V), and the networking cannot over 30m.
3. Outdoor unit has access signal interface, can connect with switch of door to
control on/off of the door lock. The outdoor unit cannot connect with door
lock, because the relay of outdoor unit cannot up to 0.8A, If the unlocking
current is greater than 0.8A, the electric lock can not be directly connected
to the outdoor unit, the door lock is connected by access control power
supply.
