Literary Analysis Reflection

For this essay I was to read Still Water Saints by Alex Espinoza and write about a

character, their hardship, and how they interact with the protagonist throughout the book. The

character I choose to write about is about a boy name Rodrigo and the hardship, what I thought it

to be, was him being sexually, physically, and emotionally abused. I added a little more of a

viewpoint to my thesis. I found a lot of articles about abuse but some of them weren't relevant to

this essay. Some had too much information that I couldn’t use and I had to pick out the important

formation that I could use. I combined the first two of my body paragraph, since they had the

same topic. I fix any grammar and syntax errors I could fine. A few of my paragraphs ended with

quote, so I wrote my own thoughts about it and how it relates to the paragraph. It is now the page

length that was require for this essay. I knew a few things about abuse before doing a little

research and writing about this character has open up my eyes of the effect that can happen to a

person that has been abuse.
