A. Appliance Nozzle - [Flow No. = 1]

Area coverage per nozzle is 3’(L) x 3’(W) or one (1) no. of nozzle for one (1) no
of cooking appliance.
Hence, no. of nozzles required = 3 nos.
3 appliance nozzles have been selected.

B. Exhaust Duct Nozzle – [Flow No. = 1]

Perimeter coverage require 1 nozzle per exhaust duct as duct’s limitation as
follows:
1 duct nozzles are capable of protecting square or rectangular duct with
maximum 50 in. perimeter, with the longest side being a maximum of 16 in.
Hence, no of duct nozzle required = 1 (Qty of duct) x 2 nozzles = 2 nozzles
2 duct nozzles have been selected.

C. Plenum Nozzle – [ Flow No. = 1]

Area coverage per nozzle = 10 ft(L) x 4 ft (W)
Hence, no of plenum nozzle required = 1 no
1 plenum nozzles have been selected.

D. Flow Number (Flow factor)

Total flow no. required : 3 appliance nozzles x1 =3
2 duct nozzles x1 =2
1 plenum nozzles x1 =1

Therefore, total flow numbers – 6

E. Cylinder size (Refer Tank Chart)
1 no of PCL 300 (3.0G) cylinder have been selected.
