The imagination as a tool of mankind

Have you ever experienced some creative moments? When you became an artist just for a few
minutes then you got it out of your system and created an artwork, I’m sure you were absolutely
amazed at what you had done. In this article I will describe my thoughts about imagination and
how can it help us to improve ourselves and when it can be better not to have a good imagination.

First of all, imagination might be a double-edged weapon, on one side it helps us to solve hard-
thinking problems or even daily problems but on the other side we can use it to make a really
good alibi for a murder, the goodness in it will depend on how we use it.

Lots of artists became popular because they changed the usual way how things had been done.
Scientists, managers, professors, doctors, etc., they all make our lives better using their
imagination, knowledge, and experience, they all have as a point of reference an idea, that
working through that idea becomes an extraordinary way to solve whatever problem.

However using imagination to get an advantage over other people it’s not right, how to use it is
about values, we are supposed to behave as one solid group in the society. To my mind we are
imaginative creatures, we use our imagination and ideas to make our life easy but how we use it,
depends on ourselves.

Home sweet home

How would you feel if I tell you that there are only a few minutes to go home? Making a house
your home it’s one of the greatest things you have ever done and you can’t deny it. In this article I
will describe my dreamt place to live in, why it would be such a nice place and how make it even
better.

Let’s start with my dream house, it has to be on the beach, where I can hear the sound of the
waves crashing on the shore and I can see the sunset just to get inspired and relax. I know what
you are thinking, it was predictable many people would like to live on the beach, but not all would
like clean it or do the work that are attached with it, making it clear it would be a good place to
live because of its own charming looking the stars at night, singing in the light of the campfire or
just swimming in the afternoon.

The only thing would make it better, would be a partner that shares the same sense of living in
such relaxing place, a friend, girlfriend, or even a pet that you can develop together.

It seems to me that you should do all in your hands to live in your favourite place because there is
nothing better than living in your dreamt home with some company as long as you share the same

My favourite Peruvian chef

Virgilio Martinez is an international well known Peruvian chef that won the price Chefs’ Choice in
2017 decided for all the chefs around the world, owner of the fifth better restaurant on the world
“La Central” and the first on Latino America and my personal hero. This article describes some
facts about Virgilio and why I think he is the most interesting chef and someone we should all
know about.

First, I knew about him in an interview that the Netflix series “Chef’s Table” had made, I was
absolutely amazed how he had taken the concept of different altitude floors in Peru and put each
altitude floor in a dish and it’s not all, he is curious about new flavours, he investigates new
products all over Peru in order to create a new exquisite plate.

He represents us as a country, with the brand “Peru” in every exhibition worldwide that take place
abroad. Thanks to him and the total staff of brand “Peru” we have recognition for our endemic
and millennial products.

A perfect world
Have you ever imagined how life would be if we all were the same? Just imagine being in a world
where we all have the same ideas, share the same feelings, and even have the same thoughts.
Would it be a boring or an interesting world? Are we just the same, similar or totally different from
each other? This article describes some differences and why they make us unique.

First, it will be a boring world, even if we were able to have an extraordinary communication and
understandable with each other, we won’t have different opinions, no different ideas, how will we
improve as a society with such limitations? It will probably make us an organized society, but not

The funniest joke

When was the last time you laugh uncontrollably? Why do you think it made you laugh? There is
something attachable to humans, we laugh and there is no more contagious action that laughing.
This article describes what I think is funny and what is worldwide agreed to be funny.

Let’s start with what I think is funny, it could be something as simple as you see someone falling or
could be something elaborate that includes many scenes and characters, but all of them with
some unexpected turn of the story.

Sometimes when some friend or relative are telling a joke I often spot the final action before they
finish and start laughing, if I am focused on the joke of course.

There was a joke that the majority on the world elected as the world’s funniest joke in 2002, it was
about two hunters and it starts when one saw the other hunter falls, the hunter called desperately
to emergencies and said: I think my friend is dead what should I do? And the operator said: Ok
let’s make sure he is dead. Then suddenly a shotgun was heard and the hunter said: OK, what
now? To my mind, it is funny because of the simplistic and unexpected final as the all funniest
things have to have.

Competition has always been something that people enjoy seeing and it is reflected in the number
of sports fans around the world. This article describes the best sports match I’ve seen and why it is
so special.

The best football match I’ve ever watched, I definitely have to say Peru vs. New Zealand. Can you
imagine how it feels after 32 years of being out of the world’s cup Championship having the
opportunity to get the last ticket? It was amazing not just for being the conclusion of the
classification tournament, but unified the whole country in just one feeling.

The right ingredients to make an exciting match are the mixed feelings and hope. In all scenarios
we expect to finish the match, very deep in our hearts, we always want to win, and if you include
some marvellous passes, you will be focused on the match the whole time.

To my mind sport makes us feel part of a group, where we share the passion of doing the best of
ourselves in a fair competition, although I don’t consider myself as a sports fan I sometimes enjoy
watching interesting sports match with my friends.

Meeting people and social skills in 50 years’ time

Since human beings gathered in caves they started developing social skills, it is a human condition
to socialize, but we have not always used the same forms and manners to communicate with each
other and now we wonder how these will change in 50 years ahead as well as our social skills.

First of all, human beings will develop special gadgets to have meetings on the Internet just using
our thoughts and a chip inserted in the synoptically connection of our neurons. We will probably
be more sociable but we won’t longer want to do it face to face.

The social skills will be affected by high technological devices; this will be seen reflected on the
way we have meetings, hang out with our friends or in our relationship with the people we know
and love. Just using digital characters to do what we would like to do. Although it sounds like we
could be physically isolated, we could be happy.

In 50 years, in my opinion, we will have improved our communication but it won’t longer be with
the human warmth and human touch, we will be transformed in online ideal characters where
anyone would be sociable but not cheerful.

To infinity and beyond

Have you ever imagined what it would be like to live on another planet? There are lots of efforts to
reach this goal to live in space. Now with the rising technology, that may happen in a near future.
This article describes how colonizing new planets would be and how buildings would look like.

Recognized American astronomers have predicted that we will be able to colonize a new “Earth”
in 2070. This new planet is in the nearest galaxy, about 1 000 light-years of distance. We will use
microbots that using the virus mechanism they will multiply themselves. They will create the new
habitat. After making the new city, we will send our DNA code by electronic signal to the new
offspring created in the habitat.
The new houses will have advanced technology such as microchips, atmosphere-created air,
growing plants by adding just water, etc. Everything will have to be recyclable and ensure the
preservation of the environment.

The new future is in our hands and it will be incredible if we participate in such enterprise. In my
opinion, the new colonies will have everything to survive in the new environment including houses
that will provide us security and we all may call “home sweet space home”.
