Class 8th are only asked from the NCERT Book.

Tips for Teachers to Complete CBSE Social Science Syllabus for Class 8:
Teachers find it difficult to complete Social Science syllabus on time as students don’t take
much interest in this subject. So, to keep students interested we have provided the period wise
plan for all the chapters of Social Science.
Sanskrit is a new subject for the students. So, it’s difficult to understand but getting good marks
in Sanskrit is not a tough task. All you need to do is pay attention during your class.
To make your preparation easy, we have provided the NCERT book and complete CBSE Syllabus
for Class 8th for Sanskrit subject. Syllabus for Sanskrit is not that lengthy like other subjects. So,
it can be completed easily on time.

Note:
The above mentioned weightage are only the expected weightage. Marks distribution for Class
8th is different for all schools. These marks may vary from 70, 80 to 90. We have taken help
from the previous years papers of KV and other CBSE affiliated schools for section-wise marks
distribution.
Computer and GK are optional subjects in many schools and NCERT books are not available for
these subjects. Schools recommend different books for the preparation. So, we have not
mentioned the CBSE Class 8 Computer Syllabus and GK Syllabus.
