Inicio (20 minutos)
My memory book
Ask students to bring the materials needed for this project in advance, Avoid asking them for materials one session
before. Also prepare your own materials, and some extra materials keeping in mind that sometimes students
forget to bring their own. Have students go over the steps at home. Answers may vary. Use the evaluation ru

Model the project step by step. Since this Project involves 5 steps, model step 1 and have students work on it after
watching your example. Circulate and provide help as needed. Do the same for the remaining steps. Once students
have inished their projects, ask them to keep their books and put away their materials. Then, model an example
for the class, and check understanding by inviting 2 other students to speak about their projects from their seats. Then,
give students time to practice before they start presenting, circulate and help students if necessary. Evaluate students’
work using the evaluation rubrics on page 16.
Prepare some lashcards that represent some of the recommendations presented in the reading. Also include some
pictures that are not mentioned. Ask the class to look at the pictures one by one and tell you what advice they refer to.
If it is not relevant, have them tell you that it hasn’t been mentioned. Do this in order to check understanding of key
ideas (reading for gist.)
5. Draw students’ attention to activity 2. Ask them to make a mind map in their notebooks with some of the ideas that
apply to them
