Stairway Lighting For inler or or exter or sta rways,
proper i luminatlon s cr tlcal for
safety and security. n 1979, Kim
Light ng introduced a ium naire
that changed the concept oi
stairway ight ng, and virtually
ollsoleled every steplight in
ex stence. Called the Low Level
Floodlight or LLF, thls luminaire
ofiers an asymmetr c version
spec flca y designed for ghting
stalrways. A preclsion reflector
syslem directs I ghl down the
stalrway producing very high
leve s of illlminalion on the stair
treads. The LLF s so ellicient
that each fl ght of stairs normally
requlres on y one fixlure. The
Low Level F oodlght sacast-in
fixlure wilh low profile archltec
tural face that w ll enhance ihe
appearance of any stairway.
Precision opi cal design results
rn low fixture brlghtness and
oplimum pedestrian vls bilty.
