justified.
b) One piece of evidence of how the idea of Manifest Destiny served to guide the practice of
the American government is when the United States signed the Treaty of Guadalupe
Hidalgo. By signing this the United States ended the Mexican-American War and the United
States gained more land.
c) One impact of Manifest Destiny was the impact on the American Indians. The United States
government called for the Indian Removal Act of 1830 that removed American Indians so
that the United States could continue expanding west of the Mississippi River.
