    wanted to spend her vacation making new friends and having fun, but
    instead she has to take care of David, her younger brother. David has
    autism, and he has trouble knowing what to say or do when he is
    around people. Catherine creates rules for David so that he knows
    how to act and what to say. Throughout the story she creates new
    friends and becomes closer to David.
