The Food and Drug Administration is responsible for protecting the public health by ensuring the safety,
efficacy, and security of human and veterinary drugs, biological products, and medical devices; and by
ensuring the safety of our nation's food supply, cosmetics, and products that emit radiation.

CDC increases the health security of our nation. As the nation’s health protection agency, CDC saves
lives and protects people from health threats. To accomplish our mission, CDC conducts critical science
and provides health information that protects our nation against expensive and dangerous health
threats, and responds when these arise.

They are the coordinating authority on international health within the United Nations’ system.
They set norms and standards, promoting and monitoring their implementation.

LDS Charities is the humanitarian arm of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They sponsor
relief and development projects in 189 countries and give assistance without regard to race, religious
affiliation, or nationality. Largely run with volunteer labor, we operate both independently and in
cooperation with other charitable organizations and governments

Wateraide provides people all around the world with clean water, decent toilets, and improved hygiene.
As of 2016 they provided 24.9 million people with clean water, 24 million with decent toilets and 16.7
million with good hygiene.

and enabling dietary diversification.

Save the Children is the voice for vulnerable children. We’re on the ground in 120 countries, working to
reach every last child through international programs that focus on health, education, protection and
disaster relief.

Real Medicine Foundation provides humanitarian support to people living in disaster and poverty
stricken areas, focusing on the person as a whole by providing medical/physical, emotional, economic,
and social support.
