Financial Update
We are so thankful for another
special gift in April. We continue to
consistently lack a significant amount of
our required budget each month, but
God through so many of you has
sustained us.
Wycliffe has prepared a budget for
our furlough year and we are currently
receiving 68% of what we need. Would
you prayerfully consider financial
partnership with our Wycliffe ministry, a
special gift or increasing your
partnership? Our expenses for the
upcoming year (traveling from ND to
VA, setting up our home from scratch,
preparing Miriam and Jade for school,
medical and dental needs, etc) seem
insurmountable; but we believe God
will supply through His people.

Family Update
Less than a month from America!
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on
your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and
He will show you which path to take.” Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT
We have a furlough home in Lynchburg, Virginia! We have
signed a one year lease on a townhouse within ten minutes drive
from Taylor’s home, Tia and Miriam’s dorm room at Liberty
University (they’ll be roommates!) and the public middle school
Jade may attend. What a relief to know where we will settle and
how close to our girls we will be. We are hoping for many family
meals and weekends with Taylor and our college girls beginning
the week of July 16th. We anticipate many other guests as well!
Marty is pleased to have finished his second distance
learning course towards ordination with Kingswood University. He
plans to begin more courses again in the fall after we are settled.
Both Marty and Sara are busy preparing our home for our renters as
well as fulfilling all the work of Ukarumpa International School
senior parents. Taylor has completed her nursing degree at Liberty
and has accepted a job working for Centra Health in Lynchburg. Tia
is living in Waxhaw with Sara’s parents again this summer while
working and saving towards her senior year at Liberty. Miriam
graduates from high school in two weeks and is facing many hard
goodbyes before our departure from Ukarumpa on June 18th. Jade
is thriving and will complete 7th grade in less than a month.
What a busy time! Thank you so much for your faithful
prayers that carry us through busy and difficult times.
