Firstly, we chose talking about “Reception and film’s effects on the spectator” and
“How TV shows the different cultural identities and how it transmits social rules and
stereotypes” because we considered that they were (and they still being) very
interesting and important topics.

However, finally we reviewed our interests and decided that we will go more
specific and deeper. So, in conclusion, our topic is “Can we say that LGTBI+
representation is real and quality nowadays in actual TV series?” and, in
consequence, this would be the main research question on we will depart for
developing our research.

The reason of choosing this topic is that we consider that TV series don’t show the
reality of this collective and the quality and quantity of this showing is poor and
sometimes stereotyped, and we would like to study and measure some of them
(some of the most popular or important TV series).

In relation with this, the different research goals would be:

 Study how it is the actual quantity demonstration of LGTBI+ collective on TV

series.
 Study how truly is the actual demonstration of LGTBI+ collective on TV
series.
 Size how much quantity and quality are some of the most popular TV series
actually.
 Discover how this TV image of LGBTI+ collective can affect the society.
 Discover the power of TV of perpetuate or change the different stereotypes
around the LGTBI+ collective.
 Purpose a new way of watching and demanding as spectator and creators
the TV series based on what we will discover around the LGTBI+
demonstration.
