Windows Driver Installation Instructions
After installing the "Win_Drivers" to your hard drive:
 Connect your interface to the computer's USB port.
 Windows (XP, Vista, Seven) should detect the interface.
 Open the Control Panel, and search for the Device Manager.
 Once in the device manager, right click, and go to “proprieties”.
 Select “Update Driver” in the Driver Tab to open the driver update wizard.

 Select “Search for a driver in my computer” (manual installation).

 Select “Choose from a list of drivers in my computer”.

 Select “USB Bus Controllers”

  Select CHROMATEQ, and then, “CQ DMX512 Device” or “CQDMX512 Stand Alone Device”
depending on your device.

If prompted with any warning messages, proceed anyways. The installation process is now over and
your device should work normally when replugged.

If Windows does not detect the hardware:

 Check if the green LED is ON or flashing.
 Check if the USB cable is connected properly.
 Check the USB cable is not damaged.
 Check that the hardware is not damaged.

If Windows still does not detect the hardware, you may have a problem with the interface or your computer.

Après l'installation du « Win Driver » sur votre disque dur :

 Connectez l'interface au port USB de l'ordinateur
 Windows (XP, Vista, Seven) détectera l'interface.
 Ouvrez le Panneau de Contrôle et accédez au Gestionnaire de Périphériques.
 Puis, faites un clique-droit et allez dans les propriétés.
 Allez dans “Mettre à jour le pilote” dans l'onglet Pilote.

 Cliquez sur “Rechercher un pilote sur mon ordinateur”.

 Cliquez sur “Choisir parmi une liste de pilotes de périphériques sur mon ordinateur”.

 Sélectionnez “Contrôleurs de bus USB”.

  Sélectionnez CHROMATEQ, et puis, “CQ DMX512 Device” ou “CQDMX512 Stand Alone Device”
selon votre périphérique.

Continuez même si Windows affiche des messages d'avertissement. L'installation est alors terminée
et votre périphérique marchera normalement une fois qu'il soit rebranché.

Si Windows ne détecte pas le matériel :

- Vérifiez que la LED verte est bien allumée.
- Vérifiez que le câble est bien connecté.
- Vérifiez que la qualité de votre câble. Il est recommander d'utiliser le câble d'origine.
- Vérifiez que l'appareil n'a pas subit de dommages

Si Windows ne détecte toujours pas le matériel, vous devez avoir un problème avec l'ordinateur ou l'interface
USB/DMX.
