1939 Germany Invades Poland
September 1 1939, Adolf Hitler and
german forces bomb poland which began
world war II. This german invasion was
the primer of hitler and how he started the
war.The bombing destroyed the enemy's
air capacity, railroads,communication line
and many more things. The Hitler began
concentration camps for slave labour and
extermination of civilians

Great britain responded to invasion by


bombing germany three days later.
1940 Churchill Becomes Prime Minister
May 10 1940, Winston churchill lord of
admiralty replaces chamberlain as Britain's
prime minister. Before chamberlain was
replaced he signed the Munich pact with
Hitler giving him czechoslovakia to bring
peace to britain and germany. That peace
was broken by hitler when he attacked
poland Chamberlain declares war with
germany. Churchill was a military leader 3
days after he became prime minister he gave
a speech may 13 which he said the
following:I have nothing to offer but blood,
toil, tears, and sweat”Britain stood alone
against Nazi Germany, but Churchill
promised his country and the world that the
British people would “never surrender.” They
never did.
1941 Japan Attacks Pearl Harbor
Pearl harbor is a US naval base near honolulu
hawaii, Attacked by japan on december 7 1941
around 8: am sunday morning. Destroyed
around twenty american naval, three hundred
airplanes, eight battleships, 2,400 americans
died and 1,00 people wounded. The day after
president Roosevelt asked congress to declare
war on Japan December 8, this attack was a
surprise to the United States they had been
edging towards war for decades japan
allies.Three days later Germany, Italy, Japan
declared war against the United States
1945 Hitler's Death
April 30 1945 Adolf Hitler committed suicide he
swallowed a cyanide capsule and shot himself in
the head. After this event Germany surrender
ending hitler's dreams of “1,000 years” Hitler
body was cremated. May 8th the german issued
an unconditional surrender
1954 Japan Surrenders
September 2 1945 Japan formally surrenders to
the allies bringing an end to world war II by
summer the japanese navy and air force were
destroyed the invasion of japan was promised to
be the bloodiest seaboard attack of all times.
August 6 US B-29 bomber dropped an atomic
bomb on japanese city Hiroshima Killing about
80,000 people. A declaration was signed .The
most devastating ear in human history was
finally over.
