WHERE I AM FROM

I am from cowboy hat, from maiz and tequila.

I am from a loud and restless house, a big house with two floors and made of concrete and

brick.

I am from the big and green palms, the thorny maguey, and lots of milpa.

I am from el dia de los muertos and el 16 de septiembre,

from my mother Fatima Dulce Maria, my little brother Jared Contreras, and my older brother

Alfredo Contreras.

I am from a strict and shorts, but lovely family, and from punishments.
