Syllabus
• Week 2: Lyapunov stability for autonomous nonlinear systems including converse the-
orems.
• Week 4: Design of nonlinear controllers for various class of nonlinear systems: normal
forms, inversion and zero dynamics.
• Week 5: Design of nonlinear controllers for various class of nonlinear systems: feedback
input/state and input/output linearization, and dynamic extension algorithms.
• Week 6: Design of controllers for various classes of nonlinear systems using Lyapunov
techniques.
• Week 7: Model predictive control algorithms for linear and nonlinear systems; multi-
variable systems.
