submitted to CENELEC members for formal vote.

If this draft becomes an amendment, CENELEC members are bound to comply with the CEN/CENELEC Internal
Regulations which stipulate the conditions for giving this amendment the status of a national standard without

This draft amendment was established by CENELEC in three official versions (English, French, German). A
version in any other language made by translation under the responsibility of a CENELEC member into its own

language and notified to the Central Secretariat has the same status as the official versions.

1 Foreword

2 This draft amendment to the draft European Standard FprEN 62561-5:2011 was prepared by the
3 Technical Committee CENELEC TC 81X, Lightning protection. It is submitted to the formal vote.

4 This draft amendment covers the needed common modifications towards 81/391/FDIS (future
5 IEC 62561-5:201X). If approved, this amendment will be merged with FprEN 625615-5:2011 and both
6 will be published as one single document, based on IEC 62561-5:201X (modified), with the
7 implementation dates of this FprAA.

8 The following dates are proposed:

– latest date by which the existence of the amendment

has to be announced at national level (doa) dor + 6 months
