The Only True Source Of All Bliss

The true source of all bliss comes from having relationships with admirable people. Happiness is
only truly experienced when it can be shared with others. The Buddha once rebuked his
companion, Ananda, for saying "Having admirable friends is half of the holy life!" The Buddha
corrected Ananda, saying, "Do not say so, Ananda, for having admirable friends is the whole of
the holy life!" Indeed, the Buddha views his own relationship to all of existence as the Fatherly
kind, and the Christ views his relationship as that of a brother to us all. In both cases, there is a
companionship. Relationships for human beings are really the only true source of happiness.
Bliss is experienced when all of our companions are secure, and sorrow is experienced when
someone who we are related to suffers. For this reason the Buddha-Father gave to us the Christ
who is the door to the Buddha-Father's Boundless & Incorruptible Holy Spirit and thus the giver
of eternal security. For both the Buddha and the Christ, it is offering The Gift of The Holy Spirit
in an eternally-secure relationship with the Son, who was made both Lord and Christ, in the
Buddha-Father's abode that enables everyone to experience the bliss of God.
In summary, the Buddha Father wants these three gifts for us:
(1) To be safe. To know peace is part of the same territory, as it is the natural result of finding
safety.
(2) To be happy, radiant, full of light, confident, to have an unsurpassed faith or to be possessed
of an indomitable will, to be a knower of all good things. In the words of Christ, to be perfect
even as the Father in heaven is perfect. These are only possible with those who live a blameless
life. Confidence is gained in knowing the pure conscience begotten from living blamelessly. If
someone causes intentional harm to another person, especially an irreversible harm, then
conscience becomes blemished, and self-confidence is shattered.
(3) To have the friendship of those who possess faith, nobility and virtue in the highest degree, as
their relations, bonds and companionship are a cause of joy and the single greatest source of
bolstering confidence, faith and virtue within oneself.
The culmination of the Buddha Father's compassion and contribution to humanity in fulfillment
of these three gifts, and the promise of God Almighty, is Christ.
