1.3 User Administration

1.3.1 Create User Profiles

You need to create the user roles that will be available in E-Recruiting. User roles contain the authorization profiles for the users.
Standard settings

In the standard system, the following user roles are defined:

 SAP_RCF_EXTERNAL_CANDIDATE (External Candidate)


Intended for external candidates.
 SAP_RCF_INTERNAL_CANDIDATE (Internal Candidate)
Intended for internal candidates, that is, employees.
 SAP_RCF_RECRUITER (Recruiter)
Intended for recruiters.
 SAP_RCF_RESTRICTED_RECRUITER (Restricted Recruiter)
Intended for recruiters that are not permitted to release postings or requisitions.
 SAP_RCF_DATA_TYPIST (Data Entry Clerk)
Intended for data entry clerks that manually enter applications in the system.
 SAP_RCF_BUSINESS_ADMINISTRATOR (Administrator)
Intended for the administrator of the E-Recruiting application.
 SAP_RCF_UNREGISTERED_CANDIDATE (Unregistered Candidate: Service User)
Intended for service users that enable candidates who are not yet registered to access general services.
 SAP_RCF_CONTENT_SERVER (Access to Search Engine)
Intended for the communication user. This user enables you to access the search engine.
 SAP_RCF_DECISION_MAKER (Decision maker)

Intended for decision makers responsible for completing questionnaires in which recruiters request information or
opinions about specific candidates.
 SAP_RCF_REQUISITION_REQUESTER (Requester)
Intended for the person that creates a requisition request within SAP E-Recruiting. A requester might be a manager
who creates a requisition and forwards it to the recruiter for release.
 SAP_RCF_MANAGER (Manager)
Intended for the manager who requests a requisition using a Manager Self-Service (MSS). If a user obtains approval
for a requisition request, the corresponding requisition is created in the E-Recruiting system and the manager is
assigned to the associated support team in the E-Recruiting role of Manager. This is linked through the reference user
RCF_MANAGER with the user role SAP_REC_MANAGER.
 SAP_RCF_SUCCESSION_PLANNER
Intended for succession planners of the Succession Planning subarea.
 SAP_RCF_REST_SUCCESSIONPLANNER
Intended for succession planners that cannot release any requisitions.

 In the system parameters table, specify the name of the RFC connection to your HR system under the RECFA HRRFC

5.1 Delete External Candidates

Use

You can use this program to delete external candidates with all associated links.

Requirements

Using the IMG activity Store Legal Periods, you have stored the retention period that the program is to use to ensure legal
conformance.

Activities
1. Enter your selection criteria. The following selection criteria are available:
o Candidate
If you want to delete a candidate, enter the candidate ID.
o Talent Group
If you want to delete candidates that are grouped together in a talent group, enter the talent group ID. You can
only select the talent groups for which you are a member of the support team.
o Deregistered Candidates
If you set this indicator, candidates are deleted only if their registration in the Talent Pool has also been
deleted.
o Check Legal Conformance
If you set this indicator, the program checks whether there are assignments of the candidate to requisitions
and which retention periods are stored for each of the requisitions. If there are no assignments to requisitions
or the retention periods have expired, the relevant candidate is deleted.
o Test Mode
If you set this indicator, the program performs a test run without any changes being made to the database.
2. Run the program. The system displays a result list. A message appears for candidates that were not deleted.
