TERMS OF REFERENCE OF INTERNET PROVISION (8 Mbps Shared or CIR)

In 17 HOSPITALS (Yellow Room) / SITES
Scope of Work:
1. Firm will provide internet in Yellow Rooms of 17 hospitals of Lahore (List attached at Annex-A).
2. Yellow Rooms in Hospital(s) / Site(s) for the internet provision, can be increased or decreased
as per the business requirement of LWMC.
3. Firm will provide uninterrupted minimum 4 Mbps or higher (NON CIR or CIR) with unlimited
downloads / uploads.
4. Firm will provide 1 static IP on each site.
5. In case of blockage of static IP, firm will provide alternate static IP for concerned yellow room /
sites.
6. Firm Should be a Major Bandwidth Distributor
7. Media should be Cooper or Optical Fiber Cable.
8. in case of disruption of Fiber or Cooper media on concerned affected sites, Firm will provide
Wireless internet connectivity with 4Mbps or higher (Non CIR or CIR) with unlimited Downloads
/ Uploads.
9. The internet connectivity along with all related device/ equipment e.g. switches, routers,
modules, convertors etc. will be directly terminated in the Yellow Room of Hospital(s).
10. All the equipment installed at both the ends for the provision of internet bandwidth, will be the
property of the firm and the firm will be responsible for its repair and maintenance at its own
cost.
11. Internet services provider will conduct a thorough survey of the site for the installation of internet
connectivity to the yellow room of the hospitals / sites.
12. The company will be responsible for deputing qualified personnel for installation, configuration
and testing of the said project.
13. The equipment/ hardware supplied by the firm shall be brand new and complete with all
respects (If any).
14. The quoted rates should be in PKR (Pakistani Rupees) inclusive of all taxes including GST,
duties, carriage, handling etc. Moreover, quoted rates must be clearly legible, duly signed by
authorized signatories. However, if any new taxes/duties levied/increased or
decreased/exempted after the date of submission of the bid, the same shall accordingly be
adjusted in the price of the bidder.
15. All civil work e.g. installation (including setting-up of the equipment/devices i.e ODF (Cooper/
Optical Fiber Distribution Frame), joint enclosure and devices etc.), excavating, digging (soft &
hard), curing, tunneling, configuration and testing of the Cooper/ Fiber Optic Cable within the
premises of Hospital(s) will be the responsibility of the vendor/ firm. Furthermore, all the
excavation and restoration to the original condition will be the responsibility of the vendor/firm.
16. Incomplete tenders will not be accepted and over writing if any on the tender should be certified
/ verified by the firms.
17. Income tax and GST Registered firms are eligible to participate in the tender
18. Rate will be accepted on the basis of total lowest cost (Capital + Recurring for 12 months).
19. The rates should be quoted after allowing rebates/ discounts, if any.
20. Please include a brief description about your technical/ administrative support team and your
complaint redressal mechanism.
