Challenge

Deltobran was asked to help INECO- TIFSA


create a new visual strategy for their annual
report, and other business collateral. The
communications needed to reflect their
expertise in transport and engineering, and
highlight the launch of the recently built new
terminal 4 in Barajas Airport, Madrid.

Solution

By studying the core of their business and


previous communication collateral we came
up with a visual identity that set them apart
from the competition. The resulting
designs emphasized strength and
symmetry, to reveal a precise and
contemporary design strategy for their
business literature and annual report.

Challenge

Sage was entering a planning phase where

Challenge

Tafime is a company in a unique position as


they have never faced any major
competitors, and for this reason they have
not required promotional collateral. Recently
the company have faced fierce competition
from Italy, which has necessitated the
company to demonstrate why they are the
international market leaders in their field.

Solution

Deltobran produced a corporate design


strategy that communicated modernity and
leadership, by using modern typography and
a flexible grid to allow for interesting
compositions and readable content. We
introduced a new colour palate of metallic
silver, to reference the core application of
aluminium and provide depth to the content.

The result was a clean and strong visual


strategy that demonstrates Tafime’s
expertise, setting them apart and ahead
of the competition.

Company › FREMAP Overview

Industry › Healthcare & Pharmaceutical FREMAP was founded in 1933 and is the
pioneer in assurance coverage of work

Injuries and Occupational Diseases in Spain.
The financial solvency and quality
commitment of FREMAP is illustrated by
their AA Standard & Poors rating and the
UNE-EN-ISO 9002 quality standard.

Challenge

FREMAP has experienced strong growth


through merges and acquisitions,. However
their market identity and brand positioning
has been relegated to second place. We
were asked to use their key messages and
business imagery to redefine their corporate
identity to recapture and communicate their
status as market leaders.

Solution

We focused on the core of the business


proposition being ‘people’ and captured
simple work images in context. The
overall design strategy aims to communicate
their solid company history together with
their efficient business approach. The core
typography is traditional and integrates with
saturated colour.

Challenge

Create a brand identity for an exhibition of


works from Ecuadorian artists across 100
years, that combines tradition and
modernity.

Solution

The basis of the design strategy used


Ecuador’s country flag colours. These core
colours were applied against three core
pieces to create a collage image from the
exhibitions artworks. Typographical elements
combined tradition and modernity.
The result was a powerful image that
communicated the diversity and history of
Spanish Ecuadorian culture.

securities markets in Spain. It is an
independent agency that falls under the
Ministry of Economy and Finance. Their data
covers the entire countries’ financial
information store.

Challenge

CNMV’s website has a very complex


architecture structure, with the depth of
information linking through to thousands of
articles, and several micro sites. They
organisation was launching a new brand
identity and needed to apply this design to
the website.

Solution

Given the complexity of the task we began


by organising the content, with the aim of
creating a simplified and clean information
architecture. Specifically, we were seeking to
create a website that facilitated ease of
access from entry through to a highly
technical financial data.

Following this, we interpreted the early


stage brand identity and applied this in
detail to the website design. This included
an expansion of the brand identity into
development of icons, use of colour, page
structure and design.

Challenge

El Corte Inglés needed a scalable corporate


website with the focus on press, news
access, job listings and investor relations.
Imperative to the design was ease of access
to information and scalability.

Solution

Core to the design strategy we devised a


website that would enable various targets to
interface with the website. This strategy
included a new interface to provide direct
access to many layers of content from
the home page. These multiple entry
points were differentiated through
colour.

Further, the design structure allowed for


considerable expansion of content, to cope
with the uploads of data and content, while
maintaining the efficiency of the design.

Challenge

In the competitive landscape of mobile


applications, we were asked to create a
recipe application that was radically different
from the competition. Our challenge was to
create an integrated platform that would
feature the best dishes from Murdoch
Books’s collection.

Solution

To deliver the content in a compelling format


we devised the creative strategy of telling
the story of food for each recipe. We applied
this approach and created the theme
“Around the World in Eighty Recipes”.
This creative approach set our
application strongly apart from the
competition.

The navigation system is managed through a


map from the period with a classic Hot Air
Balloon. The countries are graphically
represented with flags, iconic images,
stamps and music from the 19th century.

The result is a rich mobile experience that


enhances the culinary concept with cultural
references, relevant music and emotive
imagery.

The setting overlooks a glamorous line-up of

Challenge

Blue Sotogrande competes with the unique

Solution

We developed a design strategy that would


capture the interest of the tourist market.
We focused on promoting the beauty of
the destination and the convenience of
Blue Sotogrande. To communication the
magnificence of the district we the we used
3D visualisation, which gave the reader a
strong visual sense of the size and style,
highlighting expanse and tranquility.

Stanley Black & Decker, the preferred chosen
brand by trade professionals.

Solution

To commence the process we refined the


core set of values that define Stanley Black &
Decker. We created a print campaign that
reflected the toughness and ruggedness
of the brand. The copy “Say hello to my
little friend” makes reference to the Al
Pacino film, Scar Face with the imagery
strongly targeted to the core target
audience.

Lease is one of the top 5 suppliers of full
operational Car Lease in Europe. Their
customers experience the local presence
and international expertise every day. Their
innovative solutions provide you with a full
overview of your current fleet and can
reduce costs immediately.

Challenge

Create a mailing campaign to promote


interest in their less known market of ‘car
leasing’. Initially these communications were
targeted to Ericsson employs. The challenge
was to cut through the clutter and create
interest from employee’s.

Solution

We created an email campaign. The essence


of the campaign was a story divided into
three parts. The three separate emails
included copy written with a mysterious,
witty tone making reference to different
options for transport. We ended the
communications with a strong call to
action, presenting exclusive leasing
options from ING Car Lease.

Challenge

Matt Skinner is a well established wine


author and expert targeting a younger
market. Although he has published several
books, his most recent books did not achieve
strong sales. The books design were hard to
use and lacked aesthetic appeal.

Solution

We re-designed the Wine Guide into a larger


format, however it was still perceived to be
in the pocket category. Aesthetically, we
focused on a young “look and feel” by
mixing contemporary effects - including
the cover, to grab attention of potential
buyers. The core design developments
included better content organisation to help
readability and usability. We also integrated a
colour palette to differentiate the wine
varieties, making it easier to browse the
book.
