experience to plan a trip for my future students and I really learned how much time and energy it
takes to plan a full experience for students. It follows InTASC standard 9 (Standard 9:
learning and uses evidence to continually evaluate his/her practice, particularly the effects of
his/her choices and actions on others (learners, families, other professionals, and the
community), and adapts practice to meet the needs of each learner). It shows that as a teacher, if

For this field trip assignment, I have planned a day for my 5th grade science classes to go to the
Indianapolis Zoo Aquarium to learn about the aquatic life. There is a total of 54 students, 2
teachers, 4 parents, and the bus driver. The students will be put into groups of 9 and we will all
tour together with each parent/teacher responsible for their group. Permission slips will be
handed out prior to the field trip with parent signature and shirt size for each student.
