Unicredit Digital Core Banking Transformation Project implements the digital transformation of the
back-end of the Core Banking System (Eurosig), enabling a new model of highly automated and batch-
less system for high scalability in terms of performance and costs. The new model implementation is
aimed to achieve a modular, API (Application Programming Interface) based, cloud ready architecture
enabling a next generation banking systems.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE PROJECT

o Call Graph creation to identify the downstream applications that would be impacted by the Cobol
to Java conversion.
o Identification of internal and external copybooks that is being used in the application in the
conversion scope.
o Identification of the schema of the DB2 tables used by the applications in scope
o Identification of the complex data types used in the source code and assisting the Java team in
finalizing on the strategy for their conversion
o Pseudo code creation for the Cobol modules to be converted
o Analysis of issues encountered by the Java team in the process
o Development of jobs to automate the repeated tasks encountered.
o Discussion with BTG and IBM CoE teams on the various technical conversion issues encountered.
o Test data comparison to ensure the functionality of the converted code.

GTS is a web interface which enables billing of large volumes of gas. It summarizes individual homes
and businesses of a particular geographic location into a single unit which is managed by a Marketer.
Each marketer's account must be in a Contract, Nomination Group, and Invoice Group. GTS creates
Invoices for each account/Nomination Group depending upon the type of invoice being created.

Unicredit Credit Risk Mainframe applications handles the data for the calculation of Credit Risk scores in
the Credit rating engine and it also act as the source of input for the reporting input for the central Bank
and the European Banking reporting.

location and ensure that the smooth transition of the knowledge from the client to the offshore

D&B US System Architecture involves various processes namely Data Collection, Data Validation, Data
Storage, Product Fabrication, Delivery and Charging. Run The Business Application Service involves
Production, Maintenance & Enhancement activities of DNB-USA based applications under Application
Service Team (AST). The group handles applications of Bulk Data Exchange, Customer File Processing
and Investigation repository Database, which involves collection of data from different sources and
cleansing and validating it to update into the database.

The project involves coding and testing of the input handlers in COBOL, SAS and Easytrieve. The unit
testing and system testing is carried over at offshore.

Marketing and Related applications provide marketing information of companies to D&B customers in
the format and media specified by the customer. The Marketing and Related applications are used by
D&B for information storage, product fabrication and delivery.

Project primarily involves –
