Professional Development Plan

(What do YOU need to work on to grow professionally?)
I want to work on activities that are commensurate with all the abilities and all the elements in the classroom,
and the activities that have a few difficulties or that the student needs effort to do, and does not end quickly.
And that the activities are proportional to each corner in the chapter and be between them and between the
lesson is relevant.
1. Choose and describe an aspect from a teaching competency that you need to work on (Goal)

My goal is to make activities consistent with three abilities that are high, medium, low. And choose the activities that
the students prefer to benefit from them and not only the activity and completion of the activity without interest.
2. Describe what you will do to help achieve your goal (Strategies Used)

1- Designing difficult activities requires a high concentration to eliminate lost time.

2- Engage students in lessons through simple physical activities such as transitions from group to
another.
3. Describe how you can tell if you’re achieving your goal (Evidence)

By explaining different lessons and doing activities for each lesson, these lessons will be quite different
from other lessons.

Introduction (warmer activity + teacher active engagement)

Sing a Song of Sounds is the important things to do before we introduce the phonic sound. So will

sing together and we will do the actions for each sound.

Phonemic Awareness
I will divide the students into four groups, and I will give each group some flash cards and some of
the flashcards have a words that start with /u/ sound and the other include other sounds, and I will

ask them to rise the flash cards up when I will say the words, some of the students maybe they will

know what I mean from the pictures, and the other will know from the words. That will help them

to connect the words with the pictures. The words that they will rise it up start with /u/ sound, but I

will not going to tell them until they guess by them self.

After we done with this activity I will let them to go back to their place, and I will explain to them

that we will learn a known sound which is /u/ sound, and review words through flash cards.
