Opening (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of small group activities)


1- Ask the students about the day and date.
Time: 15 min

2- I will ask the students some questions to guess what is our lesson today. (in PowerPoint)
3- Then I will give them the meaning of synonym and some examples. (in PowerPoint).

4- Then I will play with them quick game ( 3 min)

I will give the students two activities:


Time: 20 min

First activity: I will give each two students one schedule and 8 words.
Then I will ask them to put each word in the correct please.
Small

After that I will give them the second activity, which I will ask them to take a story and one
worksheet and read the story and choose words then give synonyms for that words.
( if there is time I will ask them to write sentences)

This class was wonderful I do with students guessing game. Then I tell them what synonym mean and I give them
examples. Then I do with them the first activity the students was excited. After that, I give them stories and I ask them
to choose a word and guess the synonym the students feel bored in this game it is better if I do an excited game or
activity with movement.
Next Steps in learning and teaching
In the next plan I will try to do movement activity or activity with some cut and stick.
