Opening (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of small group activities)


Time: 5min
Whole

• Teacher will explain the key words using flash cards.


• Teacher will discuss with the students about the places of things which will be in the A3 picture.

Guided Experience (group working with the teacher) writing activity


• Teacher will explain the activity that in activity book for the students.
• Teacher will ask the students to answer the questions with her.
Time: 25 min
Small

Independent Experience (small group activity 1) reading activity

• Students will have a picture with small pictures of things, and they will have a small paper for the
instructions that they should follow it. Students will read the instructions for each picture and they will
stick each picture in the right places.

Closing (review learning -LO) speaking activity


Time: 5 min

• Teacher will ask the students to think as a group and give the her a sentence using the prepositions
words about anything in the class. (one student of each group)
Assessment (to be done during activity time, who and what will be assessed?) listening activity (5 mins)

• Students will have a listening activity sheet of small pictures that they should choose the correct answer from
the teacher’s instructions.
Reflection WWW/EBI

• WWW: that the students understand the prepositions words and know when to use them.
• EBI: that the students toke log time in the second activity.

Behaviour management

• WWW: students were engaging with me and they were active in the beginning of the lesson.
• EBI: the students were making noise during the activities time.

Groupings/differentiation

• WWW: that the higher-level students understand the instructions of the activity and know how to solve it.
• EBI: that he lower-level students they hand problem in reading the sentences.

Next Steps in learning and teaching


• Say challenging words that it will let them to finish faster.
• Tel the students about rewording after doing the activity.
• Set with the lower-level during doing the activities.
