To whom it may concern:

Ashley Enslen was an education 3600 student teacher from the University of
Lethbridge assigned to Dr. Probe School from January to May, 2018.
During her internship, Ashley Enslen has been responsible to teach Grade
4- Social Studies, Language Arts, Physical Education and Art.

Ashley always came to school prepared for teaching. She had all the
materials ready and easily assessable. Her lessons were taught in a logical
order and relevant to the program of studies. She was very organized, had
detailed lesson plans, and interesting lessons to share with the students.
Her lesson plans were detailed and seemed to be well researched. Even
though her lesson plans were well thought out she found it easy to adapt
to any classroom changes with ease. She never seemed frustrated when
her lessons took longer than she expected or had to be changed on the
spot. She included hands on activities, group and individual work.

Ashley had an excellent presence in the class and students responded to

her as teacher. She took time to get to know each student. She
demonstrated that she really cared about the students. She was confident
and she always acted in a way that is professional and respectful of others.
She was good with the students, their parents, and other staff members.
.She was always positive and provided encouragement in her delivery and
responses to class and individuals. She managed behaviors well and was
always looking for ways to improve student behavior.

Ashley has become familiar with evaluation skills. She explained to the
students how her assignments would be assessed. Ashley was a reflective
teacher and was always looking for ways to make her teaching practices
better. She evaluated all assignments and wrote uplifting comments on
each students work. She provided comments and all the students’ Spring
report cards and she entered the grades for the subjects that she taught
using the PowerSchool report card Program. She attended our Celebration
of Learning night and greeted all the parents and students warmly and was
very comfortable talking to all the parents.

Ashley became a highly regarded staff member. She attended all school
activities, fieldtrips and joined many committees. It was a pleasure having
her in my classroom and getting to know her. Ashley will make an excellent
teacher and her students will be lucky to have her as their teacher. She will
be greatly missed by her colleagues, students and I. I would highly
recommend hiring Ashley for any teaching position.
