10 Hypocrisy is the contrivance of a false appearance of virtue or goodness
Sir (Donald),
while I moved from the Netherlands in 1971 to Australia, it really never bothered
me that I have my self-professed Crummy English!.
My wife (bot giving her age) obtained her Linguistic university degree in Russian Language
15 some 65 years ago, and well if I happen to mention a Russian name (I do not master the Russian
language) then I cop a berating not having pronounced it correctly. Then again she does the same
when it comes to Czech, German and in particular English. OK she doesn’t speak Dutch, I got
that one over her!
She had written for a person a statement and well asked me to write some introduction with it.
20 We ended up with a draft of2 pages. Well, she went over my Crummy English and well she
ended up with 4 pages of notes how I should change it, and well then commented that she likely
had not yet addressed all issues. I quickly grabbed the paper before she could linger on.
I am so to say the perfect human being aware of my own numerous errors, but then again when I
make them I am always quickly to acknowledge them.
25 When I was in court in 1985 a judge criticized me for having a statement as a singular issue but
having an “s” which makes the world plural. I responded to the judge; Now I know you read it.
After that I would check law reports about a judge before which I had to appeal (at the bar table)
and then obviously very innocently would refer to a legal principle of a case the judge previously
had been representing a party as a lawyer. Just to let the judge know (indirectly) he too was on
30 record to have made blunders so don’t be hypocritical.
Reality is that society needs criminals. Oops that may not sound nice, but if no one was causing a
criminal offence then why would we need police, prison guards, legislators, etc? Consider the
massive unemployment that would be caused just for the lawyers alone if suddenly no one
committed a crime. No more building prisons and so further unemployment for bricklayers,
35 builders, transport, etc. It is very clear that there would be massive unemployment if people no
longer committed any crimes.
I was once told (being an INDEPENDENT candidate in a political election) that I do not fit in a
political party this because I do not toe the line of a political party.
My readers are well aware that I speak out against any politician regardless to which political
40 party such a politician may belong or not belong.
To me when a person makes promises during an election then that person should keep those
promises. Meaning do not make any promises that you cannot keep.
The same with all those people claiming to be refugees, etc. Can you consider how all those
lawyers now mouthing off about the discrimination (well that is their mantra) against illegal
45 immigrants, as really what they are saying is keep doing this because it keeps us in a job. After
all they do not desire to sue each other (lawyer versus lawyer) lacking any other clients.

Getting back to my self-professed Crummy English the benefits for decades at the bar table was
that often opponent lawyers couldn’t bother to read my writings and well too late then once the
hearing commenced. But at the end I had no adverse issues with it.
No doubt you have your own virtues.
5 (All pictures shown below are partly or in whole obtained from various sources of the internet.)

Ok you are known about having your own flaws but why worry about them if in the overall you
10 can do a lot of good?

But considering that as the President of the United States of America if you make serious
mistakes it can be the difference of life or death of many.

I can assure you if Australian politician (and the judiciary) shad the kind of decency and interest
in the Commonwealth of Australia Constitution Act 1900 (UK) we would be better off, but to
5 me they are more interested to deceive Australians and joining a get quick rich scheme rather
than to honour their pledges during political elections and the positions they hold from time to
time. Despite my self-professed Crummy English (and proud upon it) at least I have taken time
to research the true meaning and application of our constitution and even successfully defeated
the government lawyers in court about this!

10
As I understand it you made clear that if matters were not going better you would pursue to
become President and indeed you made it. No you didn’t need to worry about me, because not
being born in the USA (as I understand neither was Barack Obama) I couldn’t challenge you on
15 your knowledge on constitutional matters. So you really had an easy run. If the constitution were
to be amended to allow me to become president I could so to say give you a run for your money.
I must admit that the best thing I liked of the inauguration was the smile of your wife Melania
when you made your oath on the Bibles.

20
Well you made your oath and as I understand it the constitution does state:

Living in Australia I seek to keep as much as possible up to date with matters regarding
President Trump. As such, I read The Washington Post that is generally very critical about
President Trump. In my view its credibility is lacking for example in an article about climate
15 change issues it doesn't whatsoever raise the issue that the States/cities in violation to Article I
of the constitution are engaging in deals with foreign nations.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/people/ishaan-tharoor/…
"Trump may be turning his back on the world, but America isn’t". In my view, if the Washington
Post is sencere it would attack the wrongdoing of others also but it seems to glee in that others
20 unconstitutionally can defy the President. Whatever issues anyone may raise about President
Trump one has to look at if he acts within the confinements of the constitution! Politicval
opponents for sure will have their field day with any President no matter of which party he
might be. What we need to do is to be realistic. If the President acts within the powers he is
provided with, then regardless if you may utterly dislike his conduct do accept he is the
25 President. To violate the constitution to counteract the lawful exercise of a President to me is
very serious. Those who do so in my view have no credibility whatsoever to criticise others.
Those who go about to pursue their own thing regardless of if it is constitutionally permissible
are the wreckers of what the Republic was created for.

In Australia we really have a similar problem where the Minister for Foreign Affairs Julie Bishop
in my view is running around in Australia to attend to her footy team games instead of making
clear to the States it violates our constitution for them to make deals/agreements with foreign
nations. And you know Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, but to me he is a bloke who claimed
35 to be a constitutionalist but seems to know basic ally very little about it as the rubbish that falls
from his lips at times just exposes to me how little the man understand and comprehend the true
meaning and application of the constitution.

“One can argue but one can’t show disrespect, even not for him personally but for those people who voted for

Putin said “the president of the United States does not need any advice because one has to possess certain

He emphasised that Trump won an honest victory thanks to his talents, adding that the lack of respect for

10 Mr Trump was deeply critical of America’s foreign policy. He described the decision to invade Iraq as

On Russia, Mr Trump indicated that he hoped that a deal could be done to reduce nuclear capability in return

A prisoner of war (POW) is a person, whether combatant or non-combatant, who is held in
custody by a belligerent power during or immediately after an armed conflict. The earliest recorded
5 usage of the phrase "prisoner of war" dates to 1660.

Alternative Titles: POW, PW
Prisoner of war (POW), any person captured or interned by a belligerent power during war. In the
20 strictest sense it is applied only to members of regularly organized armed forces, but by broader
definition it has also included guerrillas, civilians who take up arms against an enemy openly, or
noncombatants associated with a military force.

In the early history of warfare there was no recognition of a status of prisoner of war, for the defeated
enemy was either killed or enslaved by the victor. The women, children, and elders of the defeated tribe
or nation were frequently disposed of in similar fashion. The captive, whether or not an active
30 belligerent, was completely at the mercy of his captor, and if the prisoner survived the battlefield, his
existence was dependent upon such factors as the availability of food and his usefulness to his captor. If
permitted to live, the prisoner was considered by his captor to be merely a piece of movable property, a
chattel. During religious wars, it was generally considered a virtue to put nonbelievers to death, but in
the time of the campaigns of Julius Caesar a captive could, under certain circumstances, become a
35 freedman within the Roman Empire.
As warfare changed, so did the treatment afforded captives and members of defeated nations or tribes.
Enslavement of enemy soldiers in Europe declined during the Middle Ages, but ransoming was widely
practiced and continued even as late as the 17th century. Civilians in the defeated community were only
infrequently taken prisoner, for as captives they were sometimes a burden upon the victor. Further, as
40 they were not combatants it was considered neither just nor necessary to take them prisoner. The
development of the use of the mercenary soldier also tended to create a slightly more tolerant climate for
a prisoner, for the victor in one battle knew that he might be the vanquished in the next.

In the 16th and early 17th centuries some European political and legal philosophers expressed their
thoughts about the amelioration of the effects of capture upon prisoners. The most famous of these,
Hugo Grotius, stated in his De jure belli ac pacis (1625; On the Law of War and Peace) that victors had
the right to enslave their enemies, but he advocated exchange and ransom instead. The idea was
5 generally taking hold that in war no destruction of life or property beyond that necessary to decide the
conflict was sanctioned. The Treaty of Westphalia (1648), which released prisoners without ransom, is
generally taken as marking the end of the era of widespread enslavement of prisoners of war.
In the 18th century a new attitude of morality in the law of nations, or international law, had a profound
effect upon the problem of prisoners of war. The French political philosopher Montesquieu in his
10 L’Esprit des lois (1748; The Spirit of Laws) wrote that the only right in war that the captor had over a
prisoner was to prevent him from doing harm. The captive was no longer to be treated as a piece of
property to be disposed of at the whim of the victor but was merely to be removed from the fight. Other
writers, such as Jean-Jacques Rousseau and Emerich de Vattel, expanded on the same theme and
developed what might be called the quarantine theory for the disposition of prisoners. From this point on
15 the treatment of prisoners generally improved.
By the mid-19th century it was clear that a definite body of principles for the treatment of war prisoners
was being generally recognized in the Western world. But observance of the principles in the American
Civil War (1861–65) and in the Franco-German War (1870–71) left much to be desired, and numerous
attempts were made in the latter half of the century to improve the lot of wounded soldiers and of
20 prisoners. In 1874 a conference at Brussels prepared a declaration relative to prisoners of war, but it was
not ratified. In 1899 and again in 1907 international conferences at The Hague drew up rules of conduct
that gained some recognition in international law. During World War I, however, when POWs were
numbered in the millions, there were many charges on both sides that the rules were not being faithfully
observed. Soon after the war the nations of the world gathered at Geneva to devise the Convention of
25 1929, which before the outbreak of World War II was ratified by France, Germany, Great Britain, the
United States, and many other nations, but not by Japan or the Soviet Union.

During World War II millions of persons were taken prisoner under widely varying circumstances and
experienced treatment that ranged from excellent to barbaric. The United States and Great Britain
generally maintained the standards set by the Hague and Geneva conventions in their treatment of Axis
POWs. Germany treated its British, French, and American prisoners comparatively well but treated
35 Soviet, Polish, and other Slavic POWs with genocidal severity. Of about 5,700,000 Red Army soldiers
captured by the Germans, only about 2,000,000 survived the war; more than 2,000,000 of the 3,800,000
Soviet troops captured during the German invasion in 1941 were simply allowed to starve to death. The
Soviets replied in kind and consigned hundreds of thousands of German POWs to the labour camps of
the Gulag, where most of them died. The Japanese treated their British, American, and Australian POWs
40 harshly, and only about 60 percent of these POWs survived the war. After the war, international war
crimes trials were held in Germany and Japan, based on the concept that acts committed in violation of
the fundamental principles of the laws of war were punishable as war crimes.

World War II: prisoners of warDiscussion of German and Soviet POWs during World War
II.Contunico © ZDF Enterprises GmbH, Mainz
Soon after the end of World War II the Geneva Convention of 1929 was revised and set forth in the
5 Geneva Convention of 1949. It continued the concept expressed earlier that prisoners were to be
removed from the combat zone and be humanely treated without loss of citizenship. The convention of
1949 broadened the term prisoner of war to include not only members of the regular armed forces who
have fallen into the power of the enemy but also the militia, the volunteers, the irregulars and members
of resistance movements if they form a part of the armed forces, and persons who accompany the armed
10 forces without actually being members, such as war correspondents, civilian supply contractors, and
members of labour service units. The protections given prisoners of war under the Geneva Conventions
remain with them throughout their captivity and cannot be taken from them by the captor or given up by
the prisoners themselves. During the conflict prisoners might be repatriated or delivered to a neutral
nation for custody. At the end of hostilities all prisoners are to be released and repatriated without delay,
15 except those held for trial or serving sentences imposed by judicial processes. In some recent combat
situations, such as the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan following the September 11 attacks of 2001, fighters
captured on the battlefield have been labeled “unlawful combatants” and have not been afforded
protections guaranteed under the Geneva Conventions.

Geneva Conventions
1864–1977

Geneva Conventions, a series of international treaties concluded in Geneva between 1864 and 1949 for
the purpose of ameliorating the effects of war on soldiers and civilians. Two additional protocols to the
30 1949 agreement were approved in 1977.
The development of the Geneva Conventions was closely associated with the Red Cross, whose
founder, Henri Dunant, initiated international negotiations that produced the Convention for the
Amelioration of the Wounded in Time of War in 1864. This convention provided for (1) the immunity
from capture and destruction of all establishments for the treatment of wounded and sick soldiers and
35 their personnel, (2) the impartial reception and treatment of all combatants, (3) the protection of
civilians providing aid to the wounded, and (4) the recognition of the Red Cross symbol as a means of
identifying persons and equipment covered by the agreement.
The 1864 convention was ratified within three years by all the major European powers as well as by
many other states. It was amended and extended by the second Geneva Convention in 1906, and its
40 provisions were applied to maritime warfare through the Hague conventions of 1899 and 1907. The
third Geneva Convention, the Convention Relating to the Treatment of Prisoners of War (1929),
required that belligerents treat prisoners of war humanely, furnish information about them, and permit
official visits to prison camps by representatives of neutral states.
Because some belligerents in World War II had abused the principles contained in earlier conventions,
45 an International Red Cross conference in Stockholm in 1948 extended and codified the existing
provisions. The conference developed four conventions, which were approved in Geneva on August 12,
1949: (1) the Convention for the Amelioration of the Condition of the Wounded and Sick in Armed
Forces in the Field, (2) the Convention for the Amelioration of the Condition of the Wounded, Sick, and
Shipwrecked Members of Armed Forces at Sea, (3) the Convention Relative to the Treatment of
50 Prisoners of War, and (4) the Convention Relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War.

The first two conventions elaborated on the principle that the sick and wounded have neutral status. The
prisoner-of-war convention further developed the 1929 convention by requiring humane treatment,
adequate feeding, and the delivery of relief supplies and by forbidding pressure on prisoners to supply
more than a minimum of information. The fourth convention contained little that had not been
5 established in international law before World War II. Although the convention was not original, the
disregard of humanitarian principles during the war made the restatement of its principles particularly
important and timely. The convention forbade inter alia the deportation of individuals or groups, the
taking of hostages, torture, collective punishment, offenses that constitute “outrages upon personal
dignity,” the imposition of judicial sentences (including executions) without due-process guarantees,
10 and discriminatory treatment on the basis of race, religion, nationality, or political beliefs.
In the decades following World War II, the large number of anticolonial and insurrectionary wars
threatened to render the Geneva Conventions obsolete. After four years of Red Cross-sponsored
negotiations, two additional protocols to the 1949 conventions, covering both combatants and civilians,
were approved in 1977. The first, Protocol I, extended protection under the Geneva and Hague
15 conventions to persons involved in wars of “self-determination,” which were redefined as international
conflicts. The protocol also enabled the establishment of fact-finding commissions in cases of alleged
breaches of the convention. The second protocol, Protocol II, extended human rights protections to
persons involved in severe civil conflicts, which had not been covered by the 1949 accords. It
specifically prohibited collective punishment, torture, the taking of hostages, acts of terrorism, slavery,
20 and “outrages on the personal dignity, in particular humiliating and degrading treatment, rape, enforced
prostitution and any form of indecent assault.”
The end of the Cold War, during which tensions between ethnic groups had been suppressed in states
throughout eastern and central Europe and elsewhere, gave rise to a number of civil wars, blurring the
distinction between internal and international conflicts and complicating the application of relevant legal
25 rules. In a number of cases (e.g., in Yugoslavia, Rwanda, and Somalia), the United Nations Security
Council declared that internal conflicts amounted to a threat to or a breach of international peace and
security, which thus made its resolutions on the conflicts binding on the combatants. Because of the
Security Council’s activities in expanding the definition of international armed conflicts, an increasing
number of rules outlined in the Geneva Conventions and their protocols have come to be regarded as
30 binding on all states. Such rules include the humane treatment of civilians and of prisoners of war.
More than 180 states have become parties to the 1949 conventions. Approximately 150 states are party
to Protocol I; more than 145 states are party to Protocol II, though the United States is not. In addition,
more than 50 states have made declarations accepting the competence of international fact-finding
commissions to investigate allegations of grave breaches or other serious violations of the conventions
35 or of Protocol I.
The importance of the Geneva Conventions and their additional protocols was reflected in the
establishment of war-crimes tribunals for Yugoslavia (1993) and Rwanda (1994) and by the Rome
Statute (1998), which created an International Criminal Court.

This I understand is a Syrian woman \who broadcast what really happens in Syria.
The following images show how they were used in cages and left in the streets to prevent the

As such, the term of Prisoners of war now seems to relate to non-combats-man persons such as

HUMAN SHIELDS

This is allegedly a statement by Bill Perkins, who appears to indicate to rely upon then
candidate Donald Trump to provide for religious freedom, etc. 1reghretfully it appears to me
that when it comes to religious freedom of persons in other sovereign nations then President
10 Donald Trump appears to rather support the terrorist who are slaughtering people for their
religion! In my view it is appropriate to include the statement to show how religious leaders
indeed very much relied upon the then Candidate Donald Trump to honour his commitments.

Trump Meets With Evangelical Leaders

This was a fascinating day in New York City as over 1000 Christian leaders from all over the U.S.
gathered to ask Donald Trump tough specific questions about his policy and intentions should he be
elected POTUS.
The event organizers originally requested Dallas, Texas as a middle-of-the-nation
location to hold a get-some-private-time with Trump event, hoping to attract some 200-

300 national Christian leaders. But the only opening on Trump's schedule was in NYC for
30 minutes, 30 days out. So they took it.
A screening committee, scouring the Internet, sent out invitations to about 1000
Christian leaders. Because the high expense of flying into and staying in NYC, and the
date less than 30 days away, they reserved a room for only 100 people at the Marriott
Marquis in Times Square.
5 Each person who accepted the invitation then had to be vetted, and ultimately ok'ed by
the Secret Service. Once cleared, you were notified by phone. I got two sets of phone
questions about my work with Compass and when finally approved, had 10 days to make
plans. (I'm sure I was at the end of the list!!)

But despite receiving the late notices, the response to attend was off-the-charts.
Almost everyone they invited accepted the invitation. And some who were left off the
original list apparently lobbied for inclusion. Ultimately there were over 1000 who hastily
changed their schedules to attend.

The security was tight for the 7 AM opening for registrants. I stood in long lines for an
hour, passing through three check points before finally getting through Secret Service
security.

Also at my table was a Congressional candidate from North Carolina, a Christian TV

station owner from Florida and the Chairman of the Board of the Washington Times.
There were about four past Steeling conference speakers in the room, that I noticed.
Probably more I didn't see.
10
After opening remarks by the conference organizers, Jerry Falwell Jr. spoke, then
Franklin Graham. Both attested to the authenticity of Donald Trump.

George Barna, the polling guy, spoke. Using several charts he showed that Trump has a
15 genuine path to victory if Christians vote. But in the last Presidential election, some 40
million evangelicals stayed home and that was literally the difference in the election.

Then Ben Carson spoke for about 20 minutes. His easy and soft-spoken style easily
warmed the crowd. He referred to the fact that Trump had a bad three weeks, and
20 Clinton had a good three weeks and yet the race is still close, virtually tied. But his
main point was that Trump is a proven leader. He's certainly not a politician who's
always worried about offending someone. And that's what we need, a leader, not a
politician.

25 Next came Huckabee, who moderated the discussion between the crowd and Trump.
Before introducing Trump, he made the point that we're not voting on a pastor or a
Pope, but rather a leader. A leader who is quite different from the past in order to
change things from the status quo.
So the day was set that this was not about Trump's Christian knowledge or virtues, but
30 rather where Trump wants to take the country. And where we're headed if Trump is not
elected.

The biggest concern centered around the Supreme Court. The next President will appoint
anywhere from one to five members. The Second Amendment, freedom of religion,
35 prayer in public places, etc.will likely be settled by the next President's appointees.

When Donald Trump was introduced, he didn't speak from the podium but rather sat
next to Huckabee on the stage fielding questions from the crowd for about 90 minutes.
So much for the 30 minutes originally allotted. There was no press allowed inside, so it
5 was just Trump and the Christian leaders talking back and forth.

The really big Christian leader names got to directly ask Trump questions from the
floor— i.e. people like James Dobson, Ralph Reed, Tony Perkins, etc. Most felt religious
liberty was at stake with this election, saying that if the policies Obama has set in
10 place are allowed to continue, Christians will eventually have no freedom to worship.
Harassment of Christian organizations would continue.

Through it all, Trump answered each of their questions with solid answers, both
acknowledging the problem cited and how he would take care of the problem. He seemed
15 to be genuinely concerned about changing the direction of the nation.

He addressed many subjects including the Supreme Court, national defense, border
problems, Christian persecution, his pro-life stance, Israel, healthcare, education. and
energy.
20
I would say that most of those who attended who were not sure if they would vote for
him, left convinced of how much is at stake in this election if Trump is not elected.

After Trump left, to a standing ovation, more questions were taken from the audience
25 addressed to a panel of Christian leaders. Things like the weakening of the military,
Christian business rights, etc. were discussed at length.

I have to say, we pretty much all came away thinking that if Clinton, or any Democrat,
is elected, the path this nation is currently on will continue and WILL lead to disaster.
30 If we don't turn the ship now, we're headed to be like socialized Europe— religion
pushed out of everyday life and a financial disaster getting worse by the month. Even
reaching problems like what's going on in Argentina, where they are currently literally
fighting for food, is not out of the realm of possibilities. It's that bad. Don't think it
can't happen here.
35
At the end of the day was prayer. With few exceptions, the entire room knelt on the
floor in corporate prayer for our nation. I took the opportunity to take a quick picture
of that sight, some 1000 people in their Sunday clothes on the ground praying together.
Who knows where this will lead. Maybe....
40
So, the bottom line for me is that I love this country and our Constitution more than I
dislike Trumps antics and ego. He will attempt to change the direction that Godless
liberals and their propaganda-media have led this nation. With Trump we have a
chance. With Clinton we have no chance. Be thankful we still have a chance and VOTE
45 this fall.
Please pass this on. The future of our country in general and our religious liberty in
particular depend on every Christian being registered to vote -- AND VOTING.

I apprehend the Commonwealth must have complete power to grant or refuse citizenship to any citizen

citizen of the British Empire must be a citizen of the Commonwealth. The Commonwealth will have power
to determine who is a citizen. I do not think Dr. Quick's amendment is necessary. If we do not put in a

decision of the Privy Council in Ah Toy's case.
Sir JOHN FORREST.-He was an alien.

This is interesting!
TRUMP HAS McCARRAN-WALTER ACT OF 1952 TO BACK HIM UP!
Here's an interesting historic fact that would seem to indicate that many, if not most, of the people we elect to
go to Washington don't have the slightest idea of what laws already exist.
30 I did not know of this until now. It's been law for over 60 years....
Interesting Bit of Legislative History - MacCarran Walter Act of 1952
Trump was recently severely criticized for suggesting that the U.S. should limit or temporarily suspend the
immigration of certain ethnic groups, nationalities, and even people of certain religions (Muslims). The
criticisms condemned such a suggestion as, among other things, being “Un-American,” dumb,
35 stupid, reckless, dangerous and racist. Congressmen and Senators swore that they would never
allow such legislation, and the president called such a prohibition on immigration unconstitutional.
As Gomer Pyle would say, “Surprise, Surprise !!!”
It seems that the selective immigration ban is already law and has been applied on several occasions. Known
as the McCarran-Walter Act, the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 allows for the
40 "Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by president. Whenever the president finds that the entry
of aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United
States, the president may, by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the
entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or non-immigrants or impose on the entry of aliens
any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”
45 The act was utilized by Jimmy Carter, no less, in 1979 to keep Iranians out of the United States, but
he actually did more. He made all Iranian students already here check in, and then he deported a
bunch. Seven thousand were found in violation of their visas, 15,000 Iranians were forced to leave
the United States in 1979.
It is of note that the act requires that an applicant for immigration must be of good moral character and
50 "attached to the principles of the Constitution.”
Since the Quran forbids Muslims to swear allegiance to the U.S. Constitution, technically, all Muslims should
be refused immigration.

I admit having in my writings mostly avoided to refer to President Vladimir Putin, this as to seek
to avoid being labelled a Putin Stooge. But let us be honest about it, at least to my understanding,
President Vladimir Putting President Al-Assad, the Late President Saddam Hussein are/were
Presidents which are known for secular government. As such Christians can enjoy peace and

practice any religion. Yet it appears to me that I seem to care a lot more about the lives of others

m em e Back in August 2013, the first time Bashar al-Assad deployed chemical weapons against his
10 people on a large scale, Donald Trump repeatedly said the US shouldn’t bomb Syria in response.
In a series of tweets spanning about a month, the future commander in chief warned President
Barack Obama that a strike would be (among other things) a pointless waste of money that risked
civilian casualties and broader escalation.

“Don’t attack Syria — an attack that will bring nothing but trouble for the US,” Trump wrote. “Focus
15 on making our country strong and great again!”

That was then. When Assad used chemical weapons against civilians in April 2017 and again just
this past week, Trump chose to bomb Syria. Perhaps the best way I’ve seen to visualize the jarring
contrast between Trump’s past and present is through this American Chopper meme, made by
Twitter user @hrtbps.

20 The meme, often deployed to display arguments, stages a debate between Trump’s 2013 tweets
and his 2018 comments about his own strike:

It’s perfectly fine for people to change their minds. All sorts of different presidents come into office
with one set of ideas about policy and change their minds based on new information or events.
Barack Obama, for example, came into office vowing to pull US troops out of Iraq — and then
25 ended up bulking up the US presence there after ISIS became a major threat.

But the American Chopper meme reminds us, by staging a fake argument, just how wide the gulf is
between what Trump thought after the 2013 chemical attack and what he thinks today.
Businessman Trump insisted that the president should get legal authorization from Congress
before launching a strike; President Trump just attacked Syria without it.

30 Trump used to think an attack could have dangerous consequences; now he’s touting the success
of the bombing raid with a jaunty “Mission Accomplished!” even though there’s no reason to think
it dealt a death blow to Assad’s chemical weapons program or persuaded the Syrian dictator not to
use them in the future.

We’ve never, as far as I recall, heard the president himself detail the reason for his radical change
35 of heart on all these different facets of the Syria intervention question. Given that he’s sent US
troops into combat, and may well do so again if there’s another chemical attack, it’s time that
someone asks him the question.

Correction: This piece originally credited the American Chopper meme to a Facebook user, who
had in fact reposted it. Twitter user @hrtbps is the actual creator.

Iraq: Scrubbing History – Deleting Reality

Two years ago I was researching for an article via a search engine (one we are no longer allowed to mention
5 for fear of censorship – hint – it begins with ‘G’ has six letters and is both ubiquitous and a bit evil) looking
for evidence of certain news headlines in the run-up to the 2003 Iraq war. There was a profusion of damning
‘mainstream media’ headlines and news reports to choose from. Images too. I could settle down and choose
the content I needed with ease.
No matter what keywords you use today – the scale of content returned in the same search engine has been

what you knew was once there.

What we have is those in government generally making a pledge upon the bible to serve their
15 God and then in fact acting as they are a god and decide to mass murder or enable the mass
murder of innocent people/victims. If there is something like a judgment day I do not doubt they
all will rot in their own respective hell for presiding over this kind of murderous brutality.
I however pursue for Australia that in regard of every war Australia is or was involved in there
be a Royal Commission and those involved if held having engages or otherwise supported any
20 form of warmongering without proper legal justification are charged accordingly and be
sentenced, if convicted, to life of imprisonment with hard labour and all their worldly
possessions are confiscated and use towards a funds to the victims of their crimes.
This so others will be well aware not to follow the same path.

Unless Syria was named in a DECLARATION OF WAR published by the Governor-General
in the (Australian) Gazette any politician, soldier, etc, who supported the bombing of Syria could
in my view be held legally accountable for supporting the attack upon a friendly country. There
was much going on about David Hicks as I understood it supporting the enemy, while in fact
45 neither Afghanistan and/or Iraq was named in any DECLARATION OF WAR and as such
within Australian Crimes Act Section 24AA they were entitled to assist a friendly nation. In fact
it was the Australian politicians and then General Peter Cosgrove I held were committing the
Crime of Aggression, mass murder, human rights violations, etc. And you may ask how can this
relate to the US and other countries? Well in my view the US government could be held legally
50 liable to aiding and abetting with Australians who are committing such crimes.
While you may argue that within the American constitution you rely upon Congress to authorize
war, I understand it didn’t do so for your authorization to bomb Syria in 2017 and 2018. As such
for this you can still be held legally accountable.
And as for Former president George W. Bush, being authorized within the American constitution
55 by Congress nevertheless for Australian purposes could still be deemed a war criminal, etc.
When then we venture out to the UK, with former Prime Minister Tony Blair then he too could
be implicated. And with Pm Theresa May I understand she didn’t have the legal authority either

from Her Majesty by way of a DECLARATION OF WAR. It should be understood that the
above quoted Hansard was also before the British Parliament when it enacted the
Commonwealth of Australia Constitution Act 1900 (UK) and as such well aware upon this legal
principle that only Her Majesty could authorize by publishing in the (British) Gazette a
5 DECLARATION OF WAR naming the specific county/countries.
And I understand that President Macron (France) also can be held legally accountable for not
having the France Parliament authorizing France military to engage in bombing Syria.
I may make clear that where a country is directly under attack then no declaration of war is
needed, this because any enemy country that commences an attack by this already has declared
10 war.
In my view you as the president of the United States of America should consider if you were
deliberately misled by UK Prime Minister Theresa May as to the Skripal issue! The issue is not
if you may not desire to expose the truth but rather that you acted upon what PM Theresa may
15 claimed. By this you expelled Russian diplomates, etc, uprooting not only their and family lives
but also by it undermining security issues. And did you in your public statements then eve n if
unintentionally misled Americans?
There was this gross deception as I understood it by former PM tony Blair about President
Saddam Hussein being able to launch within 45 minutes the Weapons of Mass Destruction. We
20 also had the claim about the purported gas attack in Douma, Syria and obviously one has to start
asking the easy and yet difficult question if those in power make decisions based on
false/deceptive information should they then be held legally accountable. Likewise those who
are involved in Secret service/intelligence they too should be held legally accountable for failing
their DUTY OF CARE to inform you appropriately about the FACTS! After all why spend
25 about $100 Billion on intelligence services if as I previously stated you could get more factual
information to ask your youngest son to Google about it? And even if you had yourself Googled
(or using another search engine) Douma you might just have had obtained better FACTUAL
information then all those in the Intelligence Services were somehow unable to gather. This I
view show and indeed underline their ongoing gross incompetence to properly perform their
30 jobs. Let us not ignore the fact that President Vladimir Putin in my view had every right to aid
Syria and rebuke those who were bombing Syria. The fact that President Vladimir Putin didn’t
do so can only go to his credibility as a statement to rely upon that the FACTS would be
exposed.

By Thomas Scripps: Craig Murray, the former UK ambassador to Uzbekistan, has published evidence

double-agent, Sergei Skripal. According to the Conservative government and a pliant media, Skripal and his
daughter, Yulia, were poisoned by Russia with a “novichok” nerve agent.

A D-notice (Defence and Security Media Advisory Notice) is used by the British state to veto the publication
of potentially damaging news stories. Formally a request to withhold publication, the slavishness of the
mainstream media ensures these notices function for the most part as gag orders.
5 Murray initially reported the claims of famous whistleblower Clive Ponting that a D-notice had likely been
issued in relation to some aspect of the Skripal affair. He then noted Channel 4 journalist Charles Thomson’s
confirmation that a D-notice had, in fact, been issued and that it related specifically to censoring the identity
of Skripal’s MI6 handler.
Murray suggests that the MI6 agent in question is called Pablo Miller.
10 As Murray notes, the specific attempt to protect Miller’s identity is highly significant. Miller is an associate
of former British intelligence officer, Christopher Steele, first in espionage operations in Russia and more
recently in the activities of Steele’s private intelligence firm, Orbis Business Intelligence.
Steele was responsible for compiling the Trump–Russia dossier, comprising 17 memos written in 2016
alleging misconduct and conspiracy between Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and the Putin
15 administration. The dossier, paid for by the Democratic Party, claimed that Trump was compromised by
evidence of his sexual proclivities in Russia’s possession. Steele was the subject of an earlier (unsuccessful)
D-notice, which attempted to keep his identity as the author of the dossier a secret.
If Miller and, by extension, Skripal himself were somehow involved in Orbis’ work on the highly-suspect
Steele–Trump dossier, alongside representatives of British and possibly US intelligence, then all manner of
20 motivations can be suggested for an attack on the ex-Russian spy and British double agent by forces other
than Russia’s intelligence service, the FSB.

Russia had brought 17 witnesses from Douma who stated that there had been no chemical weapons attack
there earlier this month – the pretext for an illegal air strike on Syria by the three western states.

The witnesses, a mix of victims and the doctors who treated them, told accounts that confirmed a report
provided last week from Douma by British reporter Robert Fisk – a report, it should be noted, that has been
almost entirely blanked by the western media. According to the testimony provided at the OPCW, the victims
5 shown in a video from the site of the alleged attack were actually suffering from the effects of inhaling dust
after a bombing raid, not gas.
The first strange thing to note is that the US, UK and France boycotted the meeting, denouncing Russia for
producing the witnesses and calling the event an “obscene masquerade” and “theatre”. It suggests that this
trio, behaving like the proverbial three monkeys, think the testimony will disappear if they simply ignore it.
10 They have no interest in hearing from witnesses unless they confirm the western narrative used to justify the
air strikes on Syria.
Testimony from witnesses is surely a crucial part of determining what actually happened. The US, UK and
France are surely obligated to listen to the witnesses first, and then seek to discredit the testimony afterwards
if they think it implausible or coerced. The evidence cannot be tested and rebutted if it is not even considered.
15 The second is that the media are echoing this misplaced scorn for evidence. They too seem to have prejudged
whether the witnesses are credible before listening to what they have to say (similar to their treatment of
Fisk). Tellingly, the Guardian described these witnesses as “supposed witnesses”, not a formulation that
suggests any degree of impartiality in its coverage.

25 Instead, we are getting yet more revisions to a story that was originally presented as so cut-and-dried that it
justified an act of military aggression by the US, UK and France against Syria, without authorisation from the
UN Security Council – in short, a war crime of the highest order.

It is worth noting the BBC’s brief account. It has suggested that Diab was there, and that he is the boy shown
30 in the video, but that he was not a victim of a gas attack. It implies that there were two kinds of victims
shown in the video taken in Douma: those who were victims of a chemical attack, and those next to them
who were victims of dust inhalation.
That requires a great deal of back-peddling on the original narrative.

One could ask what kind of President are you if you refuse to listen to the witnesses, regardless if
you doubt their evidence, as after all you justified a bombing upon alleged evidence involving
those very witnesses. In my view you are placing your own credibility at stake by not willing to
listen to those witnesses. Is it that you fear them to tell you that you were being had by your own
40 warmongering advisors? Is this slogan MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN merely as to
indicate you are willing to slaughter as many innocent victims if it comes to the manufacturing
and sale of military weapons? This even ignoring the loss of lives of American servicemen and

By TruePublica: Consortium News publishes three reports into the numbers of casualties, that is, actual
fatalities, the U.S. is responsible for since September 11th, 2001. At TruePublica we conducted a study in
25 2015 and arrived at similar figures. However, we included all casualties from all causes including sanctions,
disease, starvation and lack of medical facilities directly related to these wars of aggression. At the time we
were the only organisation to have done so and our findings were published in Stop The War Coalition and
Global Research among others. This latest research makes for truly grim reading as the numbers are far
worse than our best efforts at the time.

Barbara Lee, was famously the only member of Congress in the US to vote against the original authorization
of force that led to the invasion of Iraq. Explaining her decision at the time, she warned, in language that
annoyed many as the smoke still swirled from ‘ground-zero’ in ruins of the World Trade Centre after 9/11:
“As we act, let us not become the evil that we deplore.”

5 The crimes committed remain, as Nicolas JS Davies reports – are an urgent moral, political and legal
imperative.

A father and his young daughter fled through the rubble-strewn streets of West Mosul
– Reuters
10 Iraq
In part one of “How Many Millions of People Have Been Killed in America’s Post-9/11 Wars?” – Davies
starts with Iraq.

“The Iraq Death Toll 15 Years After the U.S. Invasion” which I co-wrote with Medea Benjamin, estimates
15 the death toll in Iraq as accurately and as honestly as we can in March 2018. Our estimate is that about
2.4 million people have probably been killed in Iraq as a result of the historic act of aggression committed
by the U.S. and U.K. in 2003.
It should be noted that all these figures are only estimated violent deaths as a direct result of invasion. None
include deaths from the indirect effects of these wars, such as the destruction of hospitals and health systems,
20 the spread of otherwise preventable diseases and the effects of malnutrition and environmental pollution and
sanctions, which have also been substantial in all these countries.
Davies explains that estimates of war deaths regularly published by UN agencies, monitoring groups and the
media are nearly all based on fragmentary “passive reporting,” not on comprehensive mortality studies in all
the countries being researched.
25 At best, passive reports can reveal a minimum number of war deaths. But that is often such a small fraction
of actual deaths that it is highly misleading to cite it as an “estimate” of the total number of people killed. The
huge disparities epidemiologists have found between the results of mortality studies and passive reporting
(between 5:1 and 20:1) have been consistent across many different war zones all over the world.
From here, Davies deep dives into the hell hole that Iraq ended up being with his research. “The figure of
30 655,000 deaths in the first three war years alone, however, clearly points to a crime against humanity
approaching genocide.” This historic act of aggression by the US and UK, says Davies, is ongoing to this
day.
By late 2011, over 650,000 Iraqi people were now dead. For comparison, this number exceeds the 450,000 of
British troops and civilians killed FROM ALL CAUSES throughout World War 2.
35 By now three million refugees were created, 1 in 6 households destroyed – each one losing an average, one
family member. Around this time in 2011, places like Fallujah spiralled out of control, with 40,000 losing
their lives in the bombardment of Mosul alone that followed. Approximately 80% killed were found to be
civilians.

40 The research from all sources concludes: “That gives us an estimate of 2.38 million Iraqis killed since 2003,
as a result of the criminal American and British invasion of Iraq.” However, that is not the upper number
given, which the report says, could reach as high as 3.4 million.

Final words from Davies in part one of this terrible three-part report says it all. “The world will never hold
45 major American and British war criminals accountable for their crimes as long as the public does not
understand the full scale and horror of what they have done. And the world will not know peace as long as
the most powerful aggressors can count on impunity for “the supreme international crime.”

However, as an example of including ‘other civilian deaths’, not in this report, we can refer to TruePublica’s
own report which found that: “undisputed UN figures show that 1.7 million Iraqi civilians died due to the
West’s brutal sanctions regime, half of whom were children” – prior to the attack of Iraq by America and
Britain. Remember, Davies does not include deaths from all causes such as lack of medical care and the
5 ongoing crisis from birth defects as a result of the widespread use of depleted uranium artillery that follows
these wars.
In TruePublica’s report, we were able to cite a secret US Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) document
discovered by Professor Thomas Nagy of the School of Business at George Washington University. Nagy
concluded it was “an early blueprint for genocide against the people of Iraq”.

15 Afghanistan and Pakistan
In Part Two of How Many Millions Have Been Killed in America’s post-9/11 Wars – Davies turns his
attention to Afghanistan and Pakistan. “As I explained in part one, the U.S. has attempted to justify its
invasions of Afghanistan and several other countries as a legitimate response to the terrorist crimes of 9/11.
But the U.S. was not attacked by another country on that day, and no crime, however horrific, can justify 16
20 years of war – and counting – against a series of countries that did not attack the U.S.”
His research continues a grim story with huge numbers of nights raids in Afghanistan perpetrated by the
McCrystal and Patreus killing machine that largely went unreported. In 2010 alone thousands died in over
5,000 night raids that took place away from the gaze of the media. As senior U.S. military officers letter
admitted to Dana Priest and William Arkin of The Washington Post, more than half the raids conducted by
25 U.S. special operations forces targeted the wrong person or house, so a large increase in civilian deaths was a
predictable and expected result of such a massive expansion of these deadly “kill or capture” raids.
If only one thing is clear, says Davies, about the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan
(UNAMA) reports of civilian deaths, it is that nobody should ever cite them as estimates of total numbers
of civilians killed in Afghanistan – least of all UN and government officials and mainstream journalists
30 who, knowingly or not, mislead millions of people when they repeat them.
There has been no attempt to conduct a serious mortality study in Afghanistan as there was in Iraq but using
similar techniques to arrive at the body count in Iraq, Davies concludes that approximately 130,000 –
150,000 Afghan soldiers and police were killed. As for innocent civilians, the estimate is about 875,000 to
have been killed since 2001, with a minimum of 640,000 and a maximum of 1.4 million.
35 The U.S. expanded its war in Afghanistan into Pakistan in 2004. The CIA began launching drone strikes, and
the Pakistani military, under U.S. pressure, launched a military campaign against militants in South
Waziristan suspected of links to Al Qaeda and the Afghan Taliban. Since then, the U.S. has conducted at
least 430 drone strikes in Pakistan according to the Bureau of Investigative Journalism, and the Pakistani
military has conducted several operations in areas bordering Afghanistan.
40 Our own reports at TruePublica along with media partner, Drone Wars UK concluded that the fatality rate of
civilians in drone strikes is well over 90 percent against their intended target whilst their use in the first place
is illegal.
Davies continues. “The beautiful Swat valley (once called “the Switzerland of the East” by the visiting Queen
Elizabeth of the U.K.) and three neighbouring districts were taken over by the Pakistani Taliban between
45 2007 and 2009. They were retaken by the Pakistani Army in 2009 in a devastating military campaign that
left 3.4 million people as refugees.”

By TruePublica: The Chilcot Inquiry conclusion that the invasion of Iraq was “unnecessary and undermined
the United Nations” is, to say the very least, something of an understatement. Another is that Sir John Chilcot
said he did not believe Tony Blair was “straight with the nation” about his decisions in the run-up to the Iraq
war.
5 The truth, as we all know, the Chilcot Inquiry was a whitewash even though criticism of Blair was no
doubt devastating to Blair himself. Officialdom yet again conspired to eradicate history by creating yet
another deception – that Tony Blair is not really a war criminal. Iraq not only saw a million innocent
victims extinguished, millions more were displaced but it also turned out to the birthplace of an
entirely new form of vile Jihadist extremism that will, of course, take more than a generation to calm.
10 In the end though, the Chilcot legacy meant for nothing. Although Libya predated this deliberately
stalled inquiry, Syria didn’t. And yet the same old tactics, from same old playbook – page-by-page are
turned. Today, the British government now looks for a pretext for illegal aggression, not diplomatic
solutions for what we all thought was going to be the ‘rules-based world order’.
In his nightmarish and futuristic novel “1984,” George Orwell somehow foresaw almost exactly what is
15 happening in our reality of today. Orwell described in this classic fiction how those who would seek to
control us, would first control the media, then language and finally history itself. The novel’s protagonist,
Winston Smith, worked at the rather ironically named ‘Ministry of Truth‘. Smith’s role was rewriting
historical records and altering photos and images to make the past conform with the ruling party’s views.
Original documents that conflicted with new political realities were sent to the incinerator.
20 Our media, particularly in Britain is known to be the most right-wing, most biased anywhere in Europe. Quite
possibly, even in the Western world. It is owned largely by billionaires who don’t reside in the country. The
government and the media are largely one and the same. The coverage on the recent Syrian gas attacks as a
pretext for bombing is evidence of that. Criticism for such serious breaches of international law is now
deemed almost treasonous in Britain.
25 Today, even basic English language has been co-opted for warmongering. It appears that Britain needs no
more evidence than ‘highly likely’, ‘suspected’ and ‘the evidence points to’ – to invade another country.
These words would not cross the first threshold for a court case involving the theft of a loaf of bread.
Accusations of ‘Fake News’ is deliberately mixed into the narrative of our post-truth world.
The general public is now aware that fake news reports, fake film and fake images are the tools of modern-
30 day government propaganda. $500 million was paid by the Pentagon to a British PR firm Bell Pottinger to
produce these fake incidents of wrong-doing by our made-up enemies in Iraq – to persuade an unsuspecting
public to support illegal wars of aggression. SCL elections and Cambridge Analytica are just updated
versions of the same deceptions.
Control the media, control the language and then finally history itself. That is what is happening.
35
Two years ago I was researching for an article via a search engine (one we are no longer allowed to mention
for fear of censorship – hint – it begins with ‘G’ has six letters and is both ubiquitous and a bit evil) looking
for evidence of certain news headlines in the run-up to the 2003 Iraq war. There was a profusion of damning
‘mainstream media’ headlines and news reports to choose from. Images too. I could settle down and choose
40 the content I needed with ease.
No matter what keywords you use today – the scale of content returned in the same search engine has been
dramatically reduced. Yes, you can still find some headlines and images, but it is now much harder to locate
what you knew was once there.

45 In May 2014, the European Court of Justice said links to irrelevant and outdated data should be erased from
searches on request, sparking fears that news stories and other public information could be concealed from
public view. At the time, the discussion was about the ‘right-to-be forgotten’ – but in reality, this was a
turning point not just for censorship but the scrubbing of historical information, documentation, images and
accounts.
50 Wikipedia Founder Jimmy Wales warned: “That is a very dangerous path to go down, and if we want to go
down a path where we are going to be censoring history, there is no way we should leave a private
company like ‘G’ in charge of making those decisions.”
As far back as 2002, researchers at the highly-respected Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard
University found that ‘G’ was actively removing sites from its database and that censorship was going
55 unnoticed. This research was based on what people in different countries could see on the internet. For
instance, the keywords involving the treatment by the German’s of Jewish people in the last war gave
different results in Germany, France, the USA and so on.
The BBC reported that the reason ‘G’ did this was: “that the sites were removed to avoid the possibility of
legal action being taken against the company, and that each site was removed only after a specific complaint
60 from the government of the country concerned.”
In 2002, governments were already informing search engines of what websites, pages, documents or images
they didn’t like – so the company acquiesced.

The result, complained the BBC reporter at the time, was that one of the web’s most important tools was
being deliberately broken at the request of governments.

More recently, ‘G’ has taken this one step further by offering advice on how to remove content from ‘G’
5 news in particular.
The consequence is that when a newspaper wants to erase articles it published years earlier – they can now
erase them at will.
The Telegraph, Times, Mail, Sun, Express and Star – which had a combined circulation of 9.4m just before
the invasion of Iraq were the main cheerleaders for this catastrophic world event. The Independent was at the
10 time, the governments fiercest critic and led the anti-war campaign from the front-lines of Fleet Street.
Hundreds of jingoistic calls to “Back our Boys” and “Go Get Em” headlines have since been erased.
Mark Curtis, former director of Global Justice Now writes eloquently about how history is slowly being
abandoned with his excellent piece “For the British political elite, the invasion of Iraq never happened.” So
concerned is Curtis about Britain’s historical blunders, his website is now a treasure trove of archived
15 declassified documents and articles on UK foreign policy, especially with regards to Iraq.
The myth perpetrated by the newspapers was that Saddam Hussein was a threat to world peace, in fact, not
only was that not true, it turned out all these years later to be that America, supported by Britain would be the
slayers of world peace. In the meantime, ‘G’ as we now have to refer to them as, is distorting this wretched
and uncomfortable truth. History is being misremembered by design.
20 The scrubbing of historical evidence on the internet is amplified when trying to find out just what was the
real consequence of invading Afghanistan and Iraq. In our report entitled “Shocking Truth Of UK
Involvement In The Deaths of 6-8 million in Iraq and Afghanistan” – much of that material, whilst still there,
is much harder to find using similar keyword searches.

Trump: We’re going to cherish and protect Israel
35 QUOTE
For over 30 years US politicians from both parties have been taking BILLIONS of tax dollars from
Americans and giving them to the Jewish state, which currently amounts to over $10 million EVERY DAY.
(I would think this would be considered a violation of the US Constitution as it is mixing government with
religion since once the government takes tax dollars from its citizens, that money is government money
40 which is then given to Israel which is a religious state based on the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament.)
Just recently Republican candidate Donald Trump was on Fox News with Greta Van Susteren. Trump was
gushing with praise for Israel and said, “And we’re going to take great care of Israel. We’re going to cherish
and protect Israel.” Why would any US politician ever say anything like this? By saying the US under Trump
will “cherish and protect Israel” he is saying the oath taken by people who join the US military needs to be
45 amended and instead of swearing to protect the US Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic, a
clause needs to be added “and to protect the Jewish state of Israel.”
END QUOTE

So you provide a reported “which currently amounts to over $10 million EVERY DAY” so it can fund its
50 murderous incursions into Syrian airspace? Is this what your God is about?

In Aleppo 7 rockets were reported to have exploded in apparently empty areas around Aleppo international
airport. There are no reports of injuries or deaths in Aleppo, but images show an area was clearly hit.
As we mentioned previously, the strikes produced a small earthquake as monitors in Lebanon and Turkey
recorded seismic activity that registered over 2 on the Richter scale.
5 Neither Israel nor the United States has yet to formally acknowledge the sizable missile attack, and there's
some speculation in early Western media reporting that it could have been a U.S. coalition action, as it came
the same day that pro-Syrian government militias clashed with US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF)
near the eastern city of Deir Ezzor.
Notably, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said earlier this month his country will continue “to
10 move against Iran in Syria,” and last Thursday Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman vowed to strike at any
attempt by Iran to establish a “military foothold” in Syria.
***
Update: initial reports of mass injuries and perhaps casualties following the Iranian strike appear accurate,
and as reporters on the ground located at the Hama National Hospital show, "civilians are donating blood for
15 the Soldiers & Civilians who were wounded by the Israeli Israel Air Strikes tonight."
***
Syrian state news reports a possible foreign attack on military bases in Hama and Aleppo provinces, citing
multiple reports and videos now circulating which show massive fireballs lighting up the night sky.
Dozens of pro-government social media accounts are claiming an Israeli strike on Brigade 47 weapons
20 depot in Hama Sunday night. Syrian sate media says rockets from an "unspecified enemy" hit military
locations inside Syria, citing "a new aggression with hostile missiles" but stopped short of identifying the
aggressor.
Danny Makki — a well-known journalist reporting from on the ground in Syria — also reports an official
military source as saying "A hostile Foreign attack took place at locations in Hama and Aleppo at 10:30
25 local time tonight."
Makki further reports "the attacks this evening mainly targeted locations/positions with a strong
presence of Iranian backed militias." This indicates that the likely attacker is Israel, though still not
immediately confirmed.

For my part these Crimes of Aggression against a sovereign state cannot be justified. Would you
really accept that some country start bombing the commonwealth of Australia because American
soldiers and intelligent Services are using Pine Gap and visiting (and staying) at Australian Ports,
etc? Surely it is within the powers of any sovereign nation, provided its constitution doesn’t
35 prohibit it (as was with the Ukraine constitution) to have bases within its country of friendly
nations?
Yet, while you seem reportedly hell bend to not proceed with the agreement with Iran and Israel
seems to be hell bend to pursue a war, nothing I am aware of you have done to the real
aggressors being Israel ongoing violation of sovereign nations.
40 Remember you were the one who used as I understand not one but 2 Bibles and so if people are
entitled to assume that you are so to say a man of God who will not needlessly have innocent
people killed then why not deal with the real aggressor Israel first?
Why is it that Israel can have chemical, nuclear and biological weapons allegedly to protect itself
when in reality it is and remains the aggressor and violates as I understand it International Law?
45 When did the OPCW inspect Israel for any violations as it seems to do and have done with
numerous other countries? Is it that Israel is above the rule of law?

On Sunday, a ferocious Israeli missile strike on alleged Iranian military bases in Syria reportedly killed
dozens of soldiers.
It is true that Israel has launched more than 100 such strikes inside Syria since the barbaric civil war broke
55 out in that country seven years ago, targeting both Iranian and Hezbollah forces sent to the country to help
prop up President Assad’s regime, which is still technically at war with the Jewish state.
However, the latest attack was the most brazen and deadly yet.

The hidden battle in Syria – the one that rarely appears on our television screens – has been raging for years
between Israel and a coalition comprising the Syrian government, Iran and the Lebanese militia Hezbollah.
30 Watching over the proceedings without directly intervening has been Russia, although that might be about to
change.
The prize is control over Syrian territory but the battlefield is Syria’s skies.
According to United Nations figures, the Israeli military violated Syrian airspace more than 750 times
in the four-month period leading up to last October, with its warplanes and drones spending some 3,200
35 hours over the country. On average, more than six Israeli aircraft entered Syrian airspace each day in that
period.

QUOTE

In the meantime, tensions in Syria are ratcheting up. Unusually, Israel admitted this month that it was behind
45 a strike on an Iranian base in Syria that killed seven Iranian troops. According to the Wall Street Journal,
Israel targeted an anti-aircraft battery under construction, one Tehran hoped would limit Israel’s freedom to
patrol Syria’s skies.
The attack followed Israel’s interception of a drone over northern Israel, presumably dispatched to gain the
same kind of intelligence about Israeli military bases that Israel has of Iranian bases in Syria.
50 According to a senior Israeli military official, the move from proxy clashes to direct ones has “opened a new
period” of hostilities. Defence Minister Avigdor Lieberman has warned that Israel is prepared to prevent
Iran’s entrenchment in Syria, “regardless of the price”.

nation’s soldiers?

Where in the US constitution does it state that the lives of American soldiers can be nilly willy

As I indicated in my 5-5-2018 correspondence that I view the US should make clear to Israel that
there be no financial support nor any military support for Israel where is violates the sovereign
rights of another country. But obviously this requires a man who true to his oath on the Bible will

To support their lies the British government employs thousands of people directly in propaganda and related
activities. The other weekend in a talk at the Media Democracy Festival in Central London, I discussed
British government deception activities and made the claim it employed “thousands” of people to distort and
deceive. Afterwards, both at the event and on Twitter, I was challenged on the figures – was it really
25 “thousands”?. While it may not be very well known, the government does employ thousands of people in
what used to be known as “propaganda”. We don’t know exactly how many since the government is a little
touchy about some of the people it employs in this capacity. Nevertheless data from the Office for National
Statistics, for 2017, show that the number of people who work in “communication” (including media work,
social media, strategy, internal comms etc) in central government departments, executive agencies and non-
30 departmental public bodies, totals 3,450.
This is an increase in the total of 2,830 in those positions in the decade preceding the financial crash. After
reaching a high of more than 4,000 in 2010, numbers declined modestly under austerity cuts, to 3,240 in
2013, climbing again to the current figure just under 3,500.

In the Commonwealth of Australia Constitution Act 1900 (UK) it provides for legislative
powers for peace, order and good government, and I view this therefore limits for warmongering.
Moreover, I view that secrecy by a government denies the general community with sufficient

operations “characterised by terms such as ‘discredit’, promote ‘distrust’, ‘dissuade’, ‘deceive’, ‘disrupt’,

35 JTRIG works closely with DSTL – based at Porton Down. In addition to the work they do on chemical and
biological warfare agents, DSTL has a very significant number of people working on propaganda. It has
been a key agency in undertaking research on ‘Information Operations’ (IO) and on ‘Psy Ops’ – both military
euphemisms for propaganda – and currently advertises an Orwellian-sounding ‘Influence programme’.
Amongst other things, it was influential in the creation of RICU at the Home Office. None of the people

Presumably, they are all subsumed within the 3,120 listed as working in ‘Science and Engineering’ at DSTL,
of a total of 3,750 staff.

Mainstream Media – Losing The Informational War
QUOTE
From just about every subject you can think of affecting civil society, such as the alarming emergence
of discrimination and racism, its hardly surprising that people, in general, do not trust the mainstream media
5 as a whole when it’s largely the media stoking it all up in the first place.
To take one example of many – let’s look at the gas attack in Douma that ended with the bombing of
Damascus by Britain, France and America. And let’s not forget, this incident has taken the whole world to
the very brink of an international crisis that could have led anywhere and it was unanimously supported by
the mainstream media.

10
Headlines from the Mainstream that questioned nothing, went with government
narrative to justify the Iraq war.
Ann Wright – served 29 years in the US Army/Army Reserves and retired as a Colonel. She was also a US
diplomat and was in US Embassies in Nicaragua, Grenada, Somalia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Sierra Leone,
15 Micronesia, Afghanistan and Mongolia. She resigned from the US government in March 2003 in opposition
to the lies the Bush administration was stating as the rationale for the invasion, occupation and destruction of
Iraq.
Wright has a CV, personal knowledge and experience far greater in depth than the vast majority of
mainstream media journalists. She wrote a piece for Consortium News highlighting her belief that the White
20 Helmets is a propaganda outfit, not a humanitarian one and therfore doubts the veracity of evidence provided
by them as to the gas attack.

Blumenthal reports: “When Defense Secretary James Mattis cited ‘social media’ in place of scientific
evidence of a chemical attack in Duma, he was referring to video shot by members of the White Helmets.
Similarly, when State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert sought to explain why the US bombed Syria
30 before inspectors from the OPCW could produce a report from the ground, she claimed, ‘We have our own
intelligence.’ With little else to offer, she was likely referring to social media material published by members
of the White Helmets.”
Based on the evidence of social media and media clips shot by ‘The White Helmets’ rather than wait for the
arrival of a team of experts from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons to assess whether
35 chemicals had even been used in this latest incident, Trump gave the order to bomb. The same happened the
year before.
When it was all over the first time around, US Defense Secretary James Mattis dropped a political bombshell
when he said the U.S. has no evidence to confirm reports that the Syrian government had used the deadly
chemical weapons on its citizens. The mainstream media were silent with this news.

Christianity in Syria vs Christianity in “Rebel” Held Areas

of Syria – Syria Resources Archive

10 On this Palm Sunday for western churches, allow me to compare and contrast Christianity in Syria vs

Christianity in US-backed “rebel” held areas of Syria.

Some of these pics are from my own travels around Syria the past two years.

In government held areas of Syria (about 85% of the population is in these areas):

– The government of Syria is secular; its constitution protects all religions. The population of Syria is 90%

15 Muslim. Sunnis are the majority, over 70%. The rest are various sects like Alawites, traditional Shiite, Druze,

Ismailis, Sufis etc. Before the war, Christians made up about 10%. Now it’s possible half are gone. The

president is mandated to be Muslim in the constitution and there are many who would like that changed, but

that is a matter only for the Syrian people to decide.

– There are hundreds if not over a thousand churches in Syria. Eastern Orthodox and Catholic primarily but

also all major Protestant denominations. Churches and mosques sit comfortably side by side.

– Easter is a national holiday in Syria. The government and businesses are closed.

– Many Muslims attend Easter services and celebrations with their Christian friends. Everywhere around

5 government controlled Syria you will see Easter parades and events.

– The Syrian Arab Army is also secular. Muslims and Christians fight side by side against the US supported

terrorist groups. Many thousands of Muslim soldiers, including some Hezbollah and Iranian fighters, have died

protecting Christian areas and populations. Christians have died protecting their Muslim brothers.

– Christians are in every level of leadership and society in Syria. The current head of Parliament is Christian.

10 – The Christians of Syria, virtually all, stand with their president and army against the “rebel” terrorists who

have targeted them for expulsion and often execution. I have met with many Christians there, leaders and just

regular folks. They’ve all said the same. One young Christian lady asked me, on a Palm Sunday when I was

there, “Why do Americans want us all dead?” The great majority of Muslims also stand with their president

and army including the majority of Sunnis.

15 – President Assad recently spoke with a group of Christian youth. He said, “Christians are not guests or

migrating birds. They are from the origins of the nation and without them, there is no Syria.” He and his wife

visit Christian towns, villages, orphanages, churches etc often.

– Christian and Muslim leaders meet regularly together.

– In areas that have been liberated by the Syrian Army from US supported terrorist “rebels”, churches are

20 being rebuilt and reopened.

In areas where US supported “rebels” are still in control:

– Christians have been executed, often by beheading, or driven out of their homes. “Rebels” have kidnapped,

tortured, and killed priests and nuns. They’ve massacred whole Christian villages. Any Christians who’ve tried

to stay in their homes under the terrorists’ rule are required to pay a special tax and are the victims of abuse

25 and persecution.– There is no religious tolerance in “rebel” held areas of Syria. No operating churches, in fact

they are often burned and destroyed by the “rebels”.

Trump Sidekick Giuliani Addresses Terror Group Convention
May 7, 2018May 7, 2018 renegade 0 Comments
5 By Kurt Nimmo
Rudy Giuliani, the former New York mayor who recently joined buddy Trump’s legal team
to do battle against Robert Mueller, gave a speech to the Iran Freedom Convention for
Democracy and Human Rights in Washington on Saturday. He said Trump is committed to
regime change in Iran.
10 Giuliani, infamous for his crossdressing antics with Trump, also performed a theatrical
stunt at the convention.
“At one point in his speech, Giuliani, who has served as an informal adviser to Trump and
had been under consideration to be his secretary of state, pretended that his notes were the
Iran nuclear deal, ripping them up and spitting on them,” reports Politico.
15 Politico reports the speech was hosted by the Organization of Iranian-American
Communities (OIAC), “a group that aims to promote democracy in the Islamic Republic
and was supportive of the December protests there.”
Politico, however, neglected to mention an important detail.
OIAC is known to be a front for the political arm of the People’s Mujahedin of Iran
20 (MEK), which was listed Foreign Terrorist Organization from 1997 to 2012. OIAC has an
office in Washington next door to the National Council of Resistance of Iran, another MEK
front. Thanks to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s diligence, the terror group was taken
off the terrorist list.
MEK is an odd piece of work. It has formed a cult of personality around its leaders
25 Massoud and Maryam Rajavi. The group was originally Islamic, but was hijacked by leftist
students in 1975 and turned into a Marxist organization. It played an active role in taking
down the Shah and strongly supported the students responsible for the US embassy hostage
crisis.
MEK, however, was unable to win a single seat in the 1980 Iranian legislative election and
30 began criticizing Ayatollah Khomeini. In 1981, the group declared war against the
government of the Islamic Republic and initiated a campaign of bombing and
assassination. During the Shah’s reign, it bombed US corporations and killed US Army
colonels and contractors.
Despite this, there is a love affair between the neocons and MEK. John Bolton, Trump’s
35 current national security adviser, is a supporter, as is Cabinet secretary Elaine Chao. Others
outside Trump’s orbit, including former CIA director James Woolsey and Richard Perle,
remain ardent supporters, in part due to MEK’s frenetic lobbying behavior. Former House
Speaker Newt Gingrich—a close Trump confidant—is also a supporter.
Much of the anti-Iran rhetoric emanating from Washington is the work of MEK and its
40 operatives. They accused “Tehran of sponsoring an international terrorist conspiracy, one
tentacle of which is the alleged 1994 plot to bomb a Jewish community center in
Argentina,” writes David Stockman. “And their neoconservative cheerleaders have taken
up the cry, with the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies (FDD), the American
Enterprise Institute (AEI), the Israel Project, and the American-Israel Public Affairs

Committee (AIPAC), the powerful pro-Israel lobbying group, all promoting MEK’s
indictment.”
Giuliani isn’t shy about taking money and dispensing advice to the terrorist group. “I think
my advocacy of MEK was one of the best things I’ve ever done,” he told McClatchy in
5 2016. “I’m proud of it and happy to defend it anywhere.”
It’s almost a sure bet Trump will soon dump the Iran nuclear deal. With fanatical anti-Iran
zealots Bolton and Giuliani at his side and Israel’s Bibi Netanyahu engaging in a ludicrous
show-and-tell warning of Iranian mullahs secretly building a nuclear weapon—a
performance wholeheartedly embraced by the establishment media—there is no telling
10 how far his administration will go to get something going with Iran.

Hundreds of mines, some said to originate from NATO countries, as well as scores of
25 mortar shells and frag grenades have been retrieved by Syrian sappers in the town of
Douma. The mine-clearing effort was caught on camera.
A stunning amount of projectiles, among them land mines, hand grenades and mortar
shells, were recorded strewn on the ground in Douma, in the Damascus suburb of
Eastern Ghouta, which was one of the Islamists’ last remaining bastions in this part
of Syria.
30
Syrian bomb disposal teams have been dealing with explosives on a day-to-day basis,
having so far detected and defused a total of 1.2 thousand mines, 1.5 tons of explosive
material and four thousand improvised explosive devices (IEDs), according to the
Russian Reconciliation Center.

The sizeable ammunition cache reportedly included land mines manufactured in
some of the NATO countries, according to the Defense Ministry. The Russian military
says the mine-clearing effort in Douma could last for at least three months.

Syrian Army declares full recapture of Eastern Ghouta

15 The Syrian armed forces have seized all the towns and villages located in the Damascus
suburb, the statement issued late Saturday said. They also confirmed that all members of
the armed groups have left the area – particularly Douma, which was the last major militant
stronghold in Eastern Ghouta.

Syrian engineering units have already started to clear away the rubble and remove
20 mines and improvised explosive devices left behind by the militants. While searching
through the ruins, Syrian forces found ammunition factories and weapons depots, as
well as a large number of tunnels in the area.
The Russian Defense Ministry earlier deployed military police to the liberated area to team
up with Syrian law enforcement and begin the registration of local residents.
25 “The construction equipment that has been handed over by the Russian Reconciliation
Center to the local authorities, has started to… restore the local infrastructure,” the
ministry said in a statement, adding that the technical services are now working on bringing
water and energy service back to the area.

It appears to me that President Donald Trump is in name only the Commander in Chief of the

10 In my view the Geneva convention should be updated to include that any Prisoner of War
who is not directly engaged in any military conduct must be provides d with prison facilities that
doesn’t deny them their ordinary human rights. They are not permitted to be used as HUMAN
SHIELDS nor be placed in any cages nor tortured or otherwise harmed. They must be provided
with appropriate healthcare facilities and accommodation and if such are not available they shall
15 be handed over to the International Red Cross. A failure to do so shall constitute a war crime
punishable by no less than 20 years for each person so denied his/her entitlements.

In my view the countries involved in the bombardment in Syria and those who supported shall
25 provide appropriate funding for the rebuilding and/or restoration or other financial assistance
required to assist the Syrian Government in assisting in the rebuilding of what was damaged.
This includes the liability of the nations who provided the rebels/terrorist with weapons. Where
there is a dispute between the nations as to how much each of them shall contribute then this
shall be placed before a competent court of jurisdiction, and failing such to exist in a particular
30 case then a mediator shall be engaged which shall determine the legal liability and so any
financial liability of each country concern.
The President of the Unites States shall with or without the Assistance of Saudi Arabia cause to
have located the Yamen girl (see below picture) that was apparently severely burned in the face
35 using chemical or other weapons and shall ensure that at cost of the USA this girl shall be
provided with the best medical assistance for so far possible to restore her face and sight. For this
to include all associated cost for this girl and any adult to accompany her as to travel,
accommodation and living expenses, etc.
