1. Choose and describe an aspect from a teaching competency that you need to work on (Goal) : I need to
use checklist to assess my student in the centres while they are Woking.
2. I need to focus more in my questions when I ask the students .

3. Describe what you will do to help achieve your goal (Strategies Used). I will use different types of
questions and I will use checklist to assess the student when they are working in the centres and observe
them when they are working .

4. Describe how you can tell if you’re achieving your goal (Evidence). I will see the level of each child .

Grade Level: kg2 Subject: English Learning Outcome (MOE code and words
Students will be able to write numbers from 1 to 10 .
Students will be able to count from 1 to 10.

Circle time : song about numbers.

Activity 1 :White board and markers.

Activity 2 : Different coloured rubber elephants,

papers, pencils and basket.

Activity3 : basket with numbers and ducks.

Activity 4 : bottle of water with numbers.

Introduction (warmer activity + teacher active engagement)

Circle time : Greeting the students and ask them about the weather and the day and the date . remind them
the rules of the classroom .
Time: 15 min

Read for them story and ask them questions about the story .

Independent Experience (small group activity 1)

T : I will give each child small white board and markers.

S :They will write the numbers from 1 to 10.

 Independent Experience (small group activity 2)

T: I will mix up the colors water bottle that with numbers from 1 to 10.

S: They will put the colour water bottle that with numbers in order from 1 to 10.

Independent Experience (small group activity 3)

T : I will give the whole children in the group one big basket with different kind of animals.

S: They will sort the robber coloured elephant and they have to count and write on the paper the
number of the elephant that they got.

Activity 4 : I will give each child 5 baskets and ducks in each basket I will write numbers from 1 to 10.

S : they will put the ducks in the basket related to the number that on the basket . for example
number 1 they just will put in the basket one duck.

Gather the children again on the carpet and ask them what did they learn today?

Small activity to assess the students . I will ask them what did the lesson was about .
