Dear Respondents,

This questionnaire is part of a research project conducted to understand the factors that affect
motivation of employees in the private sector in Jordan. We are students of Master of Business
Administration (MBA) at German-Jordan University (GJU). Your response is important in order
to obtain a full understanding about the factors that affect your motivation. However, your
decision to take part is entirely voluntary, and your participation will be anonymous; the
questions in this survey do not ask you to reveal any personally identifying information.

If you decide to take part, this questionnaire should take about 10-15 minutes to complete. Please
answer the questions by selecting the most relevant rank to you (choose from Strongly Agree to
Strongly Disagree), please answer all questions as honestly as possible and return the completed
questionnaires. The answers from your questionnaires and others will be used as the main data
