How does Evernote work?
Creating your first note:
● Start typing.
● Images can addable. Just Drag&Drop the image directly into the note.

● You can install the Evernote “Web Clipper” to browse the web.
● The Evernote Web Clipper can clip any articles, PDF documents, email
documents.
● Simply select an option from the Clipper, the dd tags or extra notes to the
clipping and pick a notebook to save it in, and then click Save to send to
Evernote.

Educational uses of the Evernote:
Teachers:
● Organize your lesson plan: Teachers can put all their notes, outlines,
research, etc.
● They can start working on a lesson plan at home then continue working at
school.
● They can tag lesson plans with specific topics or subjects to make calling
them up the next school year.
● They can use Evernote to collect and organize information, notes, lesson
plans, resources to use in their class.

Educational uses of the Evernote:
Students:
● Students can use Evernote to collect data from the web, take notes in
class, organize their work, and collaborate on projects, create task lists,
etc.

Samples of possible practices of this tool in
education:
● Coordinate Projects: To get students on the same page and keep them
on task, a teacher can create a specific list of tasks related to a given
project in Evernote. That list appears on students’ computers and devices,
and as they accomplish each task, they label it “done”. This label is
instantly viewable on the teacher’s app, making it easy to determine how
groups or students are progressing.
● Facilitate ‘Reaction’ Assignments: Asking student to share their
reactions provides great writing practice, and Evernote can instantly
collect those reactions. Using the multiple-device syncing function,
encourage students to pen their reactions to a guest speaker or
classmate’s presentation.

Limitations of the Evernote
● In order to capture and store some things you must take a picture of it
first. This assumes that everyone has a digital camera and is able to
