RaGa once again back in Gujarat

on 1st phase polling day and its eve


Will address more public meetings in north and central
Gujarat

The Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi will be once again in the poll bound state on
the eve of the polling day for the first phase and on the polling day too. He will be
campaigning in the north and the central Gujarat regions during the two days, for the
second phase of the state assembly elections addressing more public meetings than
scheduled in his previous visits.

Rahul Gandhi, the vice president of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), after
having canceled his previous visit after having visited just one place in Anjar in Kutch
due to bad weather and the 'Ockhi' cyclone alert, will be continuing his election
campaign in the state from the 8th, the eve of the polling day for the first phase.

On Friday the 8th, the Gandhi scion will be visiting the Chota Udaipur, Ahmedabad,
Kheda and Anand districts, regions of the second phase of the elections. And on the next
day, he will be visiting the Patan, Banaskantha & Mehsana districts.

Rahul Gandhi will be addressing a public meeting at APMC ground in Pavi Jetpur in
Chhota Udepur district at around 12 noon. Continuing his temple visits, of which the
ruling party BJP is scoffing at, around 2: 15 in the afternoon, Rahul will visit the Mogal
Dham Mandir in Ranesar in Ahmedabad district. Fifteen minutes after that he will
address a public gathering at ground opposite Super Gas in Ranesar.

At around 4 in the evening, younger Gandhi will have a corner meeting in Anand
district's Tarapur at the ground opposite Ila park. At 5: 15 evening he will once again
have another corner meeting at Kheda district's Limbasi at ground near Rice Mill.

After having warm welcome by the local Congress leaders in Mangrol and Sojitra
Chokdi regions in Anand district, Rahul will be once again addressing a public gathering
at Vyayamshala Ground, Loteshwar Bhagol in Anand district. His night stay will be at
Vadodara

On the next day Saturday, December 9th, the polling day for the first phase, Rahul will
be in the region believed to be the Patidar bastion, Patan, Banaskantha and Mehsana
districts. Rahul will arrive Patan district's Chanasma by chopper from Vadodara and
hold a public a meeting at Harij around 1 in the noon. He will reach Banaskantha
district's Vadgam by chopper and address a public meeting at ground near Evera
Compound, in Chappi at around 2:30 afternoon. The Dalit leader Jignesh Mewani is
contesting as an independent from the Vadgam constituency.

From Vadgam, at 3: 30 afternoon Rahul Gandhi will fly by chopper to Vadnagar, the
home town of the prime minister Narendra Modi and address a public meeting in
Vadnagar at around 4 in the evening. The place falls in the Unjha assembly seat of the
Mehsana district. From Modi's hometown Gandhi scion at 5 in the evening will depart
through a Yatra Bus to Vijapur, another place in Mehsana district, the region believed to
be Patidar fortress.

At six o clock in the evening, Rahul Gandhi will address a large gathering at Sathiya
party plot in Vijapur on the Ladol road in Mehsana. Mehsana is the bastion of Patidar
community and the Mehsana assembly constituency seat is held by the deputy chief
minister of Gujarat, Nitin Patel.
