Kinetic theory explains why the volume of a container must expand when

the temperatureof the gas inside increases in order for the pressure to remain
constant.
Use kinetic theory explain why A gas expands when heated at constant pressure

A gas cylinder with a volume of 0.1 m3 contains Helium at a temperature of 300 K.

The pressure of the helium is 1.1 x 105 Pa. Calculate:-
a) The mass of helium in the cylinder
(4 Marks)
b) The r.m.s. speed of the helium atoms.
